Living in Bay Ridge means that there are many wonderful Middle Eastern restaurants to choose from, but La Maison du Couscous definitely rates #1 for me. The owner is extremely friendly and the restaurant has a very intimate, local feel. This restaurant is very vegetarian-friendly- most of the tagines can be ordered meat-free. For veggies, I recommend the artichoke heart and pea tagine. The food is great but this restaurant is not good for large parties- the tables are tiny and it was uncomfortable for the five of us to sit together.
