Live A Little...Have Few Bottles.
By NYPhil on 6/14/2007
Perhaps we're biased because we live across the street, but the only issue we have with Landmarc @ TWC is that it could be addictive. Each meal, and we've had several, has turned into a wine-tasting adventure. Enjoy Sancere? Explore a few with some oyters. Like Syrah? Have a few half bottles with the wealth of Steak Options. Love White Zin? Seek professional help. Prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is lively, the service is most accomodating. Yes, it's in a mall, but so is Per Se, Masa and Cafe Gray.

I had dinner here before a 6pm show at the Rose theatre. I had the mussels and the person I was with had the Red Snapper with Tomatoes and Corn. The mussels were severely over cooked. Upon mentioning this to the waiter he took them away and 5 minutes later returned with mussels that were just as bad. They were so overcooked that they fell apart when poked with a fork. Disgusting. The Red Snapper, while good, was so spicy the person i was with could not eat it. The menu mentioned nothing about the snapper being spicy at all. In general, just bad food not worth the price. Save up and go to Porterhouse (right upstairs) instead.
Value for location

If you want to eat at Time Warner Center, one of the more affordable options. I think the downtown location is better. This one has a bit of a chain feel to it. The burgers can be really good but the rest of the food is nothing special. The "bottle only" policy on wine can be annoying especially if you just want a glass but the half bottles help. The "gratis" cotton candy is fun as well as the mini ice cream cones. I go only because my friends like it there but I think there are better choices close but away from TWC
great food, especially breakfast!

i've only been here for dinner once, but i've gone many times for their breakfast, which is absolutely delicious. the eggs benedict and french toast are especially delectable, and the service is pretty good, if not a bit slow. i agree with the review's assessment of the decor as impersonal, but it's still pretty cool looking. i would definitely recommend this place, especially if you're with a large group.
DMANBURGER "Landmarc Time Warner Building"

DMANBURGER “Landmarc” November 16, 2009 Landmarc : situated in the city’s swanky AOL building, this newly iconic upmarket shopping mall cafe gets my vote for one of the best burgers I’ve had in a loooooong time, with a homemade bun and hearty flavorful patty and ample herb seasoned French fries, this is one to remember !! Good job Landmarc !! http://dmanburger.wordpress.com/2009/11/16/dmanburger-2/
Best waiter in NY

We usually go to Landmarc(TWC) once a week.I would think of it like a nyc bistro. The food is good overall but there are some dishes that are better than others. The fois gras terrine is good but I have had better. The octopus appy is usually chewy(overcooked) but the flatbread with procuitto, cheese, tomato is excellent. The steak dishes are good always cooked to your liking but the ny strip is my favorite. The desserts are good with the coconut sorbet being my favorite but the lemon tart is also good The staff is always cheerful and welcoming but our waiter is the BEST.He always asks if we want a speedier service(going somewhere after dinner)or a more relaxed service. He is always attentive to our requests, friendly and funny too even on a very busy evening. I have been to many nyc restaurants and my waiter Ron is outstanding..Maybe if you tell him you saw this review,he will give you some extra after dinner treats
