If you like seafood, french food, wine, oxygen....THIS is the place for you. Been 'doing' restaurants for over 20 years in Manhattan--Le Madeleine sits at the top of my list. MC Chappaqua, NY

OK, sometimes it's a little loud. Now that we've gotten the ONE negative out of the way, how about this. How about an all season garden room? How about excellent food and exemplary service? How often do you really feel you've gotten your money's worth? A wine list that shows the knowledge and consideration of the owner as much as the bistro menu shows the flair of the chef. The skate is not to be passed up. No flash-in-the-pan, this is where I would go if I had to impress with anything other than price. Gratefully, I go often because it's simply the best.
