Le Cirque 2000 is a great restaurant to experience at least once. The food/decor/service is as one would expect for a highly rated restaurant. Le Cirque in Las Vegas pales in comparison, and believe it or not, is more expensive than its sister in NYC. All in all, a pleasant evening, but with so many outstanding restaurants in NYC, a repeat visit is unlikely.

Sirio the Great is now old and tired, and so is his food, and so are his waiters. Go here for the incrdibly whimsical decor and occasional flashed of fine food, but things can get rocky very fast, with refrigreated lobster salad that chills the teeth, pot au feu that is squishy and soggy, brusque wait staff that ignores you, cramped tables up front...oh well. The branch in Las Vegas beats the mother ship by a mile.

ONE OF THE FINE RESTAURANTS OF THE WORLD. LUNCH IS BY FAR A MUCH BETTER VALUE BUT THE DOVER SOLE FOR DINNER CAN'T BE BEAT. THE BEAUTIFUL VAILLARD ROOMS AND THE CLASSIC CREME BRULEE ARE WORTH THE PRICE OF ADMISSION.

What a Blast. My wife and I went to le Cirque for our first diner as a married couple. I am French and she's from NY. I have to say it was a pleasure to enjoy great food, admirable service (Thanks Gabriel and Paul le Sommelier)and a Mind blowing decor. We took the Chef 5 courses special. Foie Gras frais on baked apple, Lobster and Ravioli, a Divine Potato Slice wraped SeaBass, a To die for Veal and an explosion of dessert. The Champagne (Veuve Cliquot Rose) was perfectly Chilled and Voila great result. The $400 Bill was justified. Next time in NY we will go again to enjoy admirable food.

Lunch at this beautiful golden palace of a restaurant really changed my life! Certainly I had never been there or done this! Everything from the perfect warm melt-in-mouth rolls with their own pot of sculpted butter to the welcoming, intelligent make-you-feel-at-home service made lunch at Le Cirque 2000 one step beyond. Just the martini alone would have been enough to make me set a new bar for martinis, just the dessert, just the entree. Honestly, I never knew "it" could be this good! lunch with drinks and a couple of glasses of wine for 2 was about $200. 12 on a the 1-10 scale!

I wasn't very impressed. I have had better service and food at other upscale restaurants. The food wasn't nearly as good as I expected and I find this place overrated. The only reason I would go back is to watch the "interesting" people.
