Having been to the Lucky Cheng's in Las Vegas (which was beyond fantastic - food included) we ventured to the original in NYC. HORRIBLE!!!!! Only 1 queen - not really a show by any standard - food was so bad you could not eat it. Disgustingly dirty place. NEVER GO HERE!!! WASTE OF MONEY!

Brilliant! I'd heard a lot of stories about crazy nights with lap dancing drag queens and unsuspecting brides to be! We went for my friends Bachelorette Party and had a total blast! Our food came out on platters so we got to try everything, I loved the honey chicken and pad thai! Cocktails were divine and our waitress was absolutely fabulous! The penis cake topped it all off! Can't say enough, loved it, going back!

I WANT TO THANK YOU ALL FOR A SLEAZY, RAUNCHY AND INCREDIBLE NIGHT WHICH MY DAUGHTER LAUREN WILL NEVER FORGET . THE PLACE IS A ZOO, THE WOMEN GORGE AND OUR SERVER "CHLOE" WAS MAGNIFICENT AND SHE BUSTED HER LITTLE TUSHIE FOR US. THE ENTERTAINMENT IS GREAT, THE COSTUMES ARE GORGEOUS. INCIDENTALLY THE FOOD WAS DELISH (AS FAR AS I WAS CONCERNED BEFORE I CAME IT WASN'T ABOUT THE FOOD) BUT SURPRISINGLY IT WAS GREAT AS WELL AS THE SPECIALLY ORDERED CAKE. THE PLACE IS A BLAST AND WHAT CAN I SAY NONE OF US WILL EVER FORGET THIS VERY LOUD AND DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. I MET TOMMY WHO WAS A DOLL, BUT WANT TO PERSONALLY THANK ROBERT WHO SPENT MANY A CALL WITH ME ON THE PHONE IN PREPARATION AND WAS ALWAYS VERY PATIENT, AND BELIEVE ME BABY I'M HIGH MAINTENANCE. P.S. I CAN'T BELIEVE MY DAUGHTER AND MY NIECE WALKED THROUGH THE STREETS TO THE PARKING LOT WITH THEIR PENIS BALLOONS ON THEIR WAISTS AND HEAD (PARDON THE PUN) JOHN WAS INCREDIBLE (STRAIGHT OR BI? WE WANTED TO TAKE HIM HOME ) LOVE NORMA JEANE (THE BEAUTIFUL HOT MAMA)

Lucky Cheng's was the BEST restaurant/club/bar I have ever been to and I've been bartending for over 20 years. If you want to laugh your ass off while your eating delicious food this is the place you want to be. The staff is amazing, they were so on point for the entire night, they never broke character once. They are so funny and nice at the same time that you want them to insult you. I haven't laughed that much in years. Plus, the food was absolutely delicious, I recommend the Thai Marinated Beef and Fried Basil Appetizer, incredible!! I could go on and on but I'll just say, you don't want to miss this experience!!! PS- This is from 5 women out for a Birthday Party!

The first fifteen minutes of my Saturday night at Lucky Cheng's involved both watching our party's bride-to-be give a half-naked straight man a wild lap dance to win a drink called the Pink Pussy and getting flashed by a poorly dressed singing transvestite (because a bridesmaid slipped him a ten on her way to the bathroom). The bride and her mother are rather conservative, so I was worried, but we arrived already tipsy, ready to don our penis-shaped balloon hats and celebrate. Be prepared, however, for somewhat shocking vulgarity (think Margaret Cho levels). I did not expect much from the poorly-reviewed food, but it was tasty, if not memorable (though how high were my standards after four drinks and no dinner?). Almost every menu item has an additional charge, so the price quickly climbs above the promised $32. I recommend finishing the night off with Imelda's Shoe (life-sized and chocolate). While this isn't a restaurant you'd visit regularly, it was perfect for our bachelorette party. *** NOTE: Drinks are expensive, so hit another bar first to liquor up and lower inhibitions. ***

The overall excitement of this expierience has come and gone . This is due to the loss of some of the fabulous gals that have shined in only the way a true cheng girl can. Its like going to what was a hit Broadway show years later when the award winning cast has gone. Still an experience if you haven't Gone.
