A late dinner for 7 on a packed Saturday night ... and had the most wonderful, precise pastas - especially the gnocchi with boar ragu ... and service was the best I've seen in a very long time. Attentive, helpful, friendly and actually felt like quite a find. Looking forward to a next visit.

Lumi is situated on the corner of East 70th and Lexington Avenue, a nice charming corner with cute boutiques such as Nina Griscom and Amedeo. It is a great neighborhood spot because the service is easy and the food is quite good. The fried calamari & zucchini is light and crispy, the spaghetti pomodoro is always a favorite of mine, and we recently discovered their delicious osso bucco dish that's served with a creamy spinach risotto. When the weather is nice, sidewalk seating is a must!
