We visit Lupe's often. The menu includes all of the standards: burritos, tacos, tamales, salads with many vegetarian options mixed into each category. The staff is very friendly, and they never rush you. I love the fresh juice drink options like watermelon and jicima, which you can mix with homemade lemonade. Price points are very reasonable, especially considering that the location is SoHo. Decor is diner-homey.

Its good for NYC but not quite like mexican food in California. The menu has a lot of good stuff that I would try if I went there another time. Its not that inexpensive as you may think.
