Anything to do with a coffee bean is just plain crappy at M. Rohr's. It's really disappointing, because this place is pretty cool in most other ways (ie. it's a coffee place in my neighborhood that is not Starbucks). Their drip coffee tastes like brown water and their espresso is mediocre. I bought some beans to dry to brew it a bit stronger at home, and the beans turned out to be dry as a bone; the sawdust coffee grounds that came out of my grinder either made a really weak cup using normal amounts, or a disgusting cup using enough to give it any flavor. I gave up after that. Not worth the money, walk down to the nearest Oren's for much better coffee.

The terrible customer service had me contemplating a boycott of Rohr's for some time, but I had come so far with my "complimentary drink card" that I went back for more abuse. I had collected the 8 stamps necessary to enjoy my free cup (despite being given an attitude every time I asked to get it stamped) so I went in to enjoy my free cup o' joe this morning. When I presented my filled drink card to the cashier he told me very brusquely that Rohr's was no longer accepting the drink cards. I calmly explained that I am a regular customer and that it didn't seem fair to change their policy to invalidate cards that were already issued and filled. Bottom line after embarrassing me in front of a line of people- they wouldn't honor the drink card. I understand things are tough for mom & pop places these days, but c'mon! The management & staff at Rohr's have repeatedly treated me like I was trying to defraud them. Stay away!
