A super relaxed trattoria where the pasta is delicious, the prices humble and the staff unpretentious. Especially enjoyable for lunch on a bright spring or fall day on the terrace. Only drawback is cash only, this is the 21st century.

I love going to Malatesta. It reminds me of the best trattorias I ate at while studying in Florence, Italy. The food is great and the prices are right. Great atmosphere. Great staff. One of my favorites.

One of our local favorites. Whenever we bring people here they rave about the quality of the food, the amazing service and the great prices. No down side at all. Except for cash only :-(

Staffed by cute and friendly service, Malatesta is perfect for first dates, casual dinners, & other special occasions. Everything from appetizers, pasta course, "secondi" are all fresh & delicious. The pasta is fresh not dried and something you wake up craving i.e. tagliatelle ragu, gnocci, etc. Lighting is all courtesy of table votives, though the noise level & closeness of tables do keep it from being too intimate.
