I do not recommend this diner at all. We wanted to go to IHOP right across the street, but since there was a long wait, we decided to come into Mark Twains. We got a window seat, and the window was so dirty that you couldnt even see clearly outside. Also, there were mainly fingerprints on it. That was already a turn off. Then they brought out water in glasses that look like it's been used for 20 years. So dirty! We tried to give it the benefit of the doubt that maybe this is an old diner but maybe great food. But we were totally wrong, the food gave us a stomach ache. Also, the waiter that served us was no friendly at all! He spoke to us like he hated his job. I do not recommend this place at all!

Let me start off by saying I am not a friend of or family of the owners of this place. I have been going here for almost 12 years and was shocked that it was empty on a saturday night. This place is an amazing dinner with a good burger, great wings, and the best corned beef hash in NY. I spoke to the staff and they told me with the increasing Hispanic population going to other establishments on Northern Blvd and the South Asian population staying in and around 74th st, this place is suffering. So I challenge any diner lover or food lover to bypass the fast food late night and check this place out. You will not be sorry
