Went there for lunch right when they opened and people started to file in quickly. The waitresses were really friendly and gave good service.
We ordered two lobster rolls and a plate of fish tacos. The lobster rolls were really great and tasted really fresh. Given the $30 I was paying for it, the portion was somewhat small. But, there was a lot of lobster stuffed into it and it was filling. However, I was really disappointed with the fish tacos. There was hardly any fish (I feel like I just got a few pieces of fish skin) and way too much lettuce. The sauce that it came with was pretty bland too.
In short, I think I will only be going back here for the lobster rolls. That's what most of the other people there were getting, too.

I went with my husband at 6pm to beat the crowd, which was a smart idea because by 6:30 the place was packed. We had a nice table by a window and the service started out great. Ordered a half dozen oysters and ended up ordering another half dozen because they were so delicious. I got the lobster roll and my husband got the fish tacos. The lobster roll was actually very mayonnaisey - I've had better lobster rolls in New England but it was still tasty. I made the mistake of not asking what the market price was and when we got the bill it said $60 for the lobster roll. I was shocked and thought there was no way that could be market price. The waitress had charged us for 2 rolls and never checked the bill ($30 is still expensive when you're not even getting the whole lobster). The waitress was very attentive but my advice is to check the bill and ask the prices in advance. Overall the food was good but the entrees are a bit pricey for a "fish shack."

Great fun date spot. A little noisy, but that makes the fun, relaxed atmosphere worth it.

Stumbled upon this grey-blue serene, chat-filled place and was delighted with the ease and cheer and relaxed yet efficient pace, energy, and FOOD. Canadian long-neck steamers brought me back to childhood delight and the counter service had an ease and attentiveness that made me happy, happy, happy. Had to go back the next day for the lobster roll and shrimp tacos, not to mention new desserts and sides.

No, they dont take reservations. Yes, we waited nearby for an hour. It was totally worth it - the food is AMAZING (especially the cockles and lobster roll) and the service was fantastic as well! For food like this, the prices are totally reasonable. Recommend this place 100%

Ever since I visited Mary’s Fish Camp five years ago I became a fervent supporter of the establishment. However, last night I went back with my wife and a friend and was absolutely floored by their lack of hospitality. We started our dinner with a bottle of wine. After that, the waitress began pushing us to order the appetizers and our main course. I do know that the place can get a bit crowded on weekends and understand that they want a quick turnaround. There are other places that get just as jam-packed as this joint and they do not make you feel unwelcome! Well, the rest of the night the waitress just tried to figure out every which way to make us eat faster. The food was good but the service was terrible. I am sorry to say that I will not return – here there are many other options, hey, it’s the city what the heck!

Went on Saturday for lunch around 1 pm with a friend. They told us a wait ("not long" about 20 minutes). We said okay and went outside, within 5 minutes they let us know that there were two seats at the bar which we promptly took. The service is decent, the place was absolutely packed and they give a ton of food. Shoestring fries are piled high on the plate. The open air kitchen is nice to watch them cook, and it's really quite an interesting place for lunch. My major complaint, I watched the cook douse my vegetables in butter ruining all pretense of healthy! So remember to specify no butter when you order! Lunch for 2 with 20% tip = $40.

Can not go wrong with Mary's. We happen to like their Lobster roll better than Pearl Oyster Bar but both are excellent. Shoestring fries are the perfect side for the rolls. The restaurant is teeny but transporting and the service has always been friendly and quick. My only nitpick is that per pound pricing for Lobster has been dropping dramatically yet this does not seem to be reflected in the price of the rolls but they are fantastic.. only one I have ever had better is Red's Eats in Wiscasset, Maine.

Great place to have good seafood and feel like your at the place to be. Only down is that it's very small and you normally have to wait about 45min to sit. A def. if you love good fresh seafood.

Went on Saturday and they were out of 1) the lobster roll; 2) lobster; 3) crab cakes; and 4) shrimp. I thnink they also said they were out od some appetizers as well. Of course, they only said this after we were seated and they took our drink orders. I guess they figured theyd get us to pay for a few beers. We said we would just finish our drinks and just go. At that point, they became a bit pushy and asked if we were sure we didnt want to order. Definitely not --- we left to go to Eds, which was great and actually had what was on their menu! Dont waste your time going to Marys -- go to Eds or Pearls or BLT Fish or any of the other real fish "shacks" in the city.
