To sum up Mezzogiorno: Tasteless, overpriced, inauthentic food served by disinterested waiters in a depressing, dated place. Mezzogiorno has been coasting on its 'status' as a old Soho restaurant for years. It has gone downhill so much that we can't recommend it even for a drink. There are so many other great Italian restaurants in the area, don't waste your time or money going to coming back to this place.

Mezzogiorno is an absolute treat. I come here as often as once a week, and bring every visitor I have from out of town here, always to rave reviews. The artichoke parmesian appetizer as well as the Fiochetti with pear are so wonderful, I found myself craving them even while visiting Italy last month. The pizza with chili oil is great as well, and I have heard fantastic things about the squid ink fettucini. The service is always great, and the prices are quite good, especially for the quality and the area. Really deserves more of a description than "good margharita" by nymag. Give the pastas a try, incredible!

Have never been let down... Was introduced to this establishment by my GF and her parents in 2007. Have been back 15-20 times and have never been disappointed. The outside seating during the summer is WHAT'S UP! The Fiochetti with pear filling are one of a kind. The Calamari is generous and sports a tangy olive oil sauce. The Pesto Pizza is for real for real.

A great place to find authentic Northern Italian cuisine. Food is fantastic. Great out door sidewalk cafe.
