Received cold delivery and refused a replacement by the rude manager
By callum85 on 11/1/2014
I ordered a burger. I live 6 mins away from the store. However, for some reason the order took a while to get to me so the bun was soggy and the meat cold. Not a problem, these things happen, i'll just call the store. However, when i called the restaurant to ask for a replacement i was told they could not do anything for me, even though i had been delivery cold and sub standard food. after some to and fro the guy simply would not replace a bad order?? I simply wanted a replacement. The guy was rude and argumentative. I have never experienced this kind of service in New York before and I cannot understand why they would not replace my order? I will not be ordering from this place again and would not advise anyone else to do so.
A WARNING TO EVERYONE WITH FOOD ALLERGIES AND/OR DIETARY RESTRICTIONS!!
By MelEast on 12/13/2012
Let me start by saying I am a 15+ year vegetarian, born & bred New Yorker and in my younger days worked in the food service industry for over 10 years and what I experienced today is absolutely ridiculous. I ordered a pickup for myself and a coworker; one veggie burger & one turkey. When I got back to the office I found both meals had been packaged in the same container leaving the turkey burger partially laying on mine. When I called to complain they basically teated me like I was an idiot saying they would have been packaged separately if I specifically asked. Now I ask you; when have you EVER received a takeout meal mixed into someone else's meal? Me? NEVER! Because you could get someone with dietary restrictions or allergies VERY SICK. Its too bad I payed cash; since I had to cut off and throw away a portion of my meal I would have called my bank and had them reverse the charges had I paid via card. This establishment clearly DOES NOT UNDERSTAND food safety OR that the CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. I will NOT be ordering from this place again.
Duck Burger!!!! Just fabulous!

I just wanted to express my love for your less traditional duck burger! I was at Mikey's Burger last night and this morning I am still dreaming about it! It is absolutely amazing! With the special "duck" sauce and onions combined with the Sriracha sauce as a condiment, I am absolutely IN LOVE with it! Delicious! The Black Sesame Milkshake makes a great companion for this burger and it is awesome too! I live in the Lower East Side and often venture out on food explorations, and I do consider myself a food snob. Mikey's Burger is definitely high on my list of places to grab an amazing burger without the extra fuss of having to wait for a table to eat and/or being on long waitlist from other food establishments. I highly rank Mikey's Burger with the renowned Minetta Tavern in Greenwich Village for the burgers. Mikey's Burger is open till late and it's great when you have a late night burger craving and you need to satisfy your hunger after work or after attending shows in the neighborhood. The burgers are definitely a "Thumbs up!!!!" Keep up the great work guys! You are AWESOME! :)

My husband and I were at Mikey's tonight which just opened a few weeks ago. We really enjoyed the regular burger with cheese. It was really fresh and was told by my hubby how satisfied he was 3x. It was clearly a great burger. A nice guy named Sunshine waited on us. If you're looking for a great burger definitely give this place a try. While we were there a few people walked in asking for the lamb burger, which seems to be a hit with the peanut satay sauce. We'll have to try this next time.
