I had a very differnt expierience then the other reviews here - must be one of the investors or the PR company posting the review. Food was bland - the menu was weak - i found the ambience "cheesy"...spend your money somewhere else - this place isnt worth it. Also it took 30 minutes to get my initial drink order, which came AFTER the first course.

Spent new year's eve hear and had one of the best night's ever. Terrific waiter. Great ambiance and buzz. All fish was excellent. Duck confit and macaroni very rich but delicious and different. Interesting lobster/crabmeat fondue. Make sure to book in the upstairs dining room.

Was there on thursday night, after hearing good things from a few friends who have been there. Turns out, they were right. First of all, the space is amazing. Truly impressive. The downstairs "salon" is gorgeous, and had some very fun music playing. we walked upstairs to the dining room, and were blown away by the decor. The wine/champagne list was very good, and reasonable for new york. we ordered the "royale" seafod tower, which was awesome. highly recommended, lot's of lobster, crab, oysters, tar-tars, etc. i'd go back for that alone. I had the snapper "a la plancha", with this herb sauce (capers, etc). Perfectly cooked, and tasted great. A few of my friends went with the steak, which they raved about. The hidden gem was the dessert. The Brioche was one of the most amazing "french toast" dishes i;ve ever had. we ordered 2 more for the table. I am a sucker for apple pie, and they had this amazing apple crumble that is a must try. will be going back. i live nearby, and it's a very welcomed addition to the neighborhood.
