I have been to many sushi restaurants around the city. Moco's a great place to try if you want to take in the lacklustre surroundings straight out of Ikea's living room design section. Service is painfully slow. Even with the few wandering customers Moco manages to pull in from busy 3rd Ave, the service seemed to be practically non-existent. Without exaggerating, we went close to 20 minutes at one point before the waitress stopped chatting with a patron at the bar to come back and see how we were doing. Food is mediocre at best. If you like your sushi served with an overbearing hunk of stale rice, then this is your place! Definitely not worth the a la carte prices that seem reasonable until you see the corners this restaurant cuts. Overall, skip this place. There's too many great sushi restaurants nearby to justify eating here. This restaurant is lucky there are 8million people in NYC, because I have a strong feeling few customers return.

I see so many Asian fusion restaurants these days. Mostly doesnÂ’t make any sense, just mix with some south China-Sea cocking with Japanese sushi. Moco is different, base on traditional Japanese cuisine then with some modern cocking methods. Very creative, certainly very delicious.
