The steak with cilantro sauce and white rice is my favorite.

I have been to Mooncake countless times- but it is just simply impossible to tire of the relaxed atmosphere and fresh, delicious food. The tender miso glazed salmon is out of this world, the sweet glaze perfectly complementing the buttery fish. The wonton soups are hearty, yet perfectly satisfying. The pork chop sandwich is a personal favorite, but, if you are anti-carbs, the steak salad will not disappoint! The service is knowledgeable and friendly and the owners are terrific. If you want great food at bargain prices, then Mooncake is the place to be.

If you think you cannot get a good meal for a decent price in Manhattan.... think Again. This place has a refreshing menu, with tasty tidbits galore, but yet different from your ordinary Asian flare. I personally went nuts on the appetizers and ordered 3 different ones to make a meal, but my date said her main dish was really tasty. I personally recommened trying this place, but dont take my corner table, Please.

A few of us stopped in on Saturday for lunch after a morning walking around SoHo. We shared a few great appetizers, Jicama Rolls, Shrimp Rolls, and Pan Seared Tuna all of which were quite tasty. Then I had the Miso Glazed Salmon, which not only provides a healty chunk of fish but rice and salad all for only $8. If it were dinner I easily would have paid $25 for the same dish. The food was outstanding and the service was delightful. I look forward to going back with friends.

This establishment should be used as a blueprint for anyone interested in opening a restaurant. The attentiveness of their staff is first rate. The food is out of this world. The decor is cozy and warm. By the end of the evening, everyone in my party of 15 felt like family. I'm proud to say that I am hooked on Mooncake.

This place has very good food at an exceptional value. Not only is the service super friendly where you feel like it's home, but you can try almost everything on the menu without breaking the bank. I LOVE the jicama rolls, it's quite refreshing and unexpected. Truly a great find. I'm definitely going back and trying everything AGAIN.

This new little restaurant is such a find! The food is delicious and to top it off, very inexpensive! Nothing on the menu was over $8...and the portions are huge! My favorite dish so far is the Miso glazed salmon...The atmosphere is great too! I highly recommend going here!

This little establishment really delivers. The miso-glazed salmon really is fantastic and at $8.95 it's one of the best-priced lunch options in SoHo to boot.

This neighborhood is pretty lacking in terms of great lunch places and delis, so Mooncake is a welcome destination for simple, delicious food that is very affordable. I love the Asian-inspired menu, and the steak sandwich is my standard. If you feel like splurging, the lobster sandwich is a delight.

Even had beef shins? Me neither, until I ordered them on a lark at Mooncake. Now I order the beef shins sandwich all the time. That is when I'm not ordering the salmon plate or the steak salad. It is hard not to get into an ordering rut here because all the dishes are so good, I'm afraid I'll have regret that I'm missing out on the other dish when I order something new. This never hapens, though. I just keep adding more favorites to my list! Mooncake flavors are unexpected. There's a lot of fusion going on with the menu item; it works and it isn't forced. Even the beverages are delicious. The staff is very nice too -- even the delivery man!
