The name of this place is now called Stumble In. There are beruit tables in the back, that's the only mentionable thing about this place.

While the food here is actually really good, it is certainly not worth the horrible service. The waitress we had was completely stand-offish and only came to our table to take our order. After a busboy brought our food, she brought the check and never returned to take the payment. She did, however have no problem sending someone else from the restaurant over to inform us that we should leave because the table we had reserved was now resevered for someone else. In addition the staff allowed the rude customer for whom the table was supposedly reserved to address us directly and demand that we leave. The staff mostly stands around in a corner and goofs off. With so many other great, original places to dine in NYC this was a poor choice and I won't be found there again.

What a disappoinment. LOUSY food (fish not fresh, chicken was grilled to the point of over-dried and dead tasting.) LOUD obnoxious 20-something crowd filled with screaming "kids" and fondling frat boys on the make. NOT a good choice.

This place is a great casual hang-out in a part of town that does not easily offer a place to drink between 2p and 5p. The crowd is friendly and the drinks are OK. My main complaint is that they charge you $3 for a basket of chips. It is the only Mexican restaurant I know of that charges for salsa and chips. (I now go to Blue Moon for free chips and better bar food.)

Mo's is an excellent Caribbean/ Mexican restaurant. It is perfect in many situations - dates, families, etc. We started with the chips and salsa and ordered guacamole to start. The salsa was excellent, chips very good, and guac was very fresh and tasty. The service was a little slow at times although it was a busy night. My husband & I both ordered cheese enchiladas and they were delicious. We go to many Mexican restaurants and I would rate Mo's as one of the best. The enchiladas had a nice amount of cheese, a delicious sauce, and were a perfect degree of spicy (relatively mild!) I would definitely recommend Mo's. The price is right too!
