Oh my Goodness, I'll be back. There is a different special every day, but this was simply amazing. Thank you Olive's.

After reading these reviews I had to go in for myself. Upon my arrival, there was a line out the door and down the street. How could this place be so bad as reviewed? The line moved quickly and the place is slammed. There are at least 10 employees moving in a chaotic rhythm, the phone is ringing off the hook and delivery guys are moving in and out. I asked for Chicken Sandwich from their regular menu, chocolate chip cookie, Stumptown cold brew iced coffee. Yes, this is not the most talkative staff, but there are at least 30 customers on the phone and in line. I really can't expect a waitress conversation. My food was amazing. Fresh bread, antibiotic and hormone free chicken, homemade mayo, great tomatoes and cress. Well worth the money I spent and I will be joining the other regulars as a place to return to. I went back in to say how great everything was and found out the owners are there everyday. He told me Olive's has been there since 1992, shook my hand and said thanks for coming in. There are so few mom & pop shops left in SoHo, but this is the real deal. Maybe everything should not join the 21st century.

Rude service not enough to compensate for tasty sandwiches

Olive's policy not to deliver to apartments without a landline is absurd - JOIN THE 21st CENTURY PLEASE. Also, every time i call, the woman who works there is so unbelievably rude, completely unhelpful, and impatient. As if she is doing me a favor. Honestly while i like the sandwiches (esp the chicken), i don't know if they are worth getting treated so poorly.

The sandwiches did not taste good. They were bland and relatively small for their price tags. There is no seating and the staff is not friendly. I asked to have my tomato and mozzarella sandwich heated (practical!) and they told me that it cannot be done.
