Worst bar in the meatpacking

This "wanna be" club, is merely a crowded room with minimal decoration and clueless staff. We hosted a company open bar party from 6pm-8pm on a Thursday, then proceeded to rack up another $1000 in shots drink afterwards. Around 11pm we moved over to the larger bar area where we opened another tab. By11:45 they stopped serving us so that we would leave their over priced poor excuse for a club to give space to potential bottle service clients. Oh and after spending $1000's how did they get us out, the accosted us, took us outside and brought our check to us there. I don't know how but this bar got real estate next to Buddha bar, spic market and all the rest. STAY AWAY from this place. You have tons of other options around that area. ALL ARE BETTER!

We went here for a friend's birthday this past weekend and the bouncers were ridiculous. This place isn't exactly a celebrity hotspot so I don't know why they were acting so selective. After watching groups of people leave and people who knew the bouncers walk in without waiting for a half hour, they finally let us in, but it doesn't end there. The bartenders took forever getting us our OVERPRICED drinks and the bouncers inside were so anal about us taking pictures. AS IF we wanted their ugly faces in the background. Finally, to end the night, our other friends tried to come in to meet up inside and the bouncers denied their entance unless they got bottle service. REALLY? SERIOUSLY? We left after that and will NEVER go back.

The party was a disaster, the crew was fighting w. the people, the restaurant lost my coat and they don't offered what they suppose to. Was too expensive and too difficult to asking to drink. I dont recommend it !

great dinner and hot lounge

I was a One on friday night with a bunch of girls from my office and we had a great time. We just walked in and sat in the lounge, ordered ravioli, burgers and an awesome raw bar platter. Cocktails were nice, we tried the holiday cherry apple cobler drink! Let me tell you it was fabulous and a perfect drink in place of a dessert. We ended up danceing til 2am and then hit the next spot. I loved it and will be back very soon.

This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. I brought a group of clients to this place and we were treated like 2nd class citizens. Not only was the wait staff rude, but it took forever for the food to come out and our drink were watered down! After sitting there for 2 hours and having my clients complain about everything, I asked to speak with the manager. You would think he would show up, but I was always told he was very busy. Finally before we left I asked who the manager was. When one of the miserable waitresses pointed him out to me, he ended up being the guy my clients were talking about the whole night because he was all-over every female that walked into the place. Horrible service, horrible staff and a horrible place to go!

If you feel like being treated like a piece of garbage and paying $15 for a drink served by a nasty bartender then this is your place. I went her last night with 18 people and after we finished the last bite of our $2000 dinner, the staff quickly cleared our plates and took our fresh and full drinks and picked up our table and made us move. I have never been treated so poorly in my life! When I asked to speak to a manager I was told 'he was coming' by the extremely RUDE staff. I would not spend a dollar here on a sucky bar that serves Euro trash and 21 year olds in hot pink spande dresses (I did not know spandex dresses were back in style). Stay far away from this horrible place! There are way too many places in New York City where you wont be treated like a piece of garbage, with better food, better drinks and a better atmosphere!

THE SERVICE SUCKED. THEY CHARGE MORE THAN WHAT YOU SIGNED FOR. THEY HAVE NO SENSE OF KEEPING THE CLIENTELE. BESIDES, BEWARE THAT YOU WILL PAY USD. 17 THE GLASS OF VERY REGULAR CABERNET RED WINE, NO MILLESIME, JUST A REGULAR RED WINE. THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER RESTAURANTS IN NYC THAT ARE WORTH THE MONEY. THIS ONE IS TOTALLY OVERRATED. DON'T GO !

After been here for 5 years in NYC, never have I been to such a condescending place....where the bouncer (who thinks they have so much power - but in fact holds no place in this society) has so much ego trip and denies me and my friend entry on a night that was ridiculously slow. He actually has the audacity to require us to have a $750 MINIMUM!!!!! Are you fu...king kidding me!!!!! SUCH A FRI..KING JOKE!!!!!!! I told this bouncer to get a LIFE and don't take his job like he is GOD.....and be my driver.

Food Was Excellent! It's All the Rest That's Painful

If you conservatively stick to steak, it will not disappoint you (both the hanger steak and the sirloin were actually very good). Avoid fish-based main courses (all the cod stuff). Oysters and shrimps were excellent. Desserts, although apparently enticing, are disappointing: the usual standard stuff, plus they're incredibly, nauseatingly sweet. The service is hilariously incompetent, as if it weren't even a restaurant. Tables are organized so that someone will be very comfortable, and someone else will suffer all evening long. Make sure you are in the first condition.

I just recently attended a party at ONE, and the only thing they have going for themselves is the Decor. Food was horrible, customer service was just non-existant, and promises were left unkept.When I complained, management just asked me to look at the line outside... I guess they meant look at the other poorsouls that are going to get poor service.
