One of my favorite restaurants in NYC!
By adam.bashaw on 7/26/2014
I always have outstanding meals and service at the Organic Grill. The service is prompt and friendly, and the food is some of the best in New York because it's so fresh and healthful. It's a must-stop every time I'm in the city on business. In addition to great food the staff is top-notch; Jenni has always provided a great dining experience, as have everyone else there. You can't go wrong with this jewel.

Great for even non-vegans!
By sarahhanley on 8/24/2011
I work in investment industry and you know how hard can it be at times especially during this time. To beat the stress, I have become a vegetarian last year and now am a strict vegetarian carefully notice what goes into my mouth :) New York has many restaurants but the one that stands out is The Organic Grill. Since I am a regular I registered for Organic Grill frequent diner program which gives me 25dollars back for every 250 dollars I spend what's more I recently celebrated my birthday with non-veg friends and got free entree. My non-veg friends loved it and hands down I experience great food, customer service and people every time I go there. Great place for vegans and even non-vegans!

Great little cafe for veggies/vegans
By misschelove on 6/24/2009
Ate breakfast here yesterday and was pleased with the menu's wide selections. Truly a little something for every mood and taste. For vegetarians/vegans this place is pretty exciting (but we're often pretty easy to please). The service was excellent, everything was really clean and well-maintained. Everything we ordered tasted good, loose tea was great quality. As an aside, the bathroom was extremely clean which for me is a pretty good indicator of the establishment's overall attention to cleanliness and order. Great little cafe. Go check it out and make your own decision - live a little and enjoy having a new experience ;)

great vegan brunch
By normanse on 4/20/2009
obviously the prior review was not written by a vegetarian. if you are a hardcore meat-eater, this is not your place. if you are vegetarian, or even have vegetarian friends, this place is fantastic. my meat-eating friends even like it. the food is made with thought and care, portions are generous. this is my favorite place for brunch, the tofu omelette is not to be missed. I actually crave this food. clean and hearty and good for you, and even vegan, if you wish ... it is the best. highly recommend.

Total Dissapointment
By nikobe on 1/21/2007
I am always amazed how good, healthy, organic food can be turned into such an awful tasteless thing. The Organic Grill is no exception. The food was super dry and tasteless. The service was awful, not because of the very nice waitress but because she was alone and absolutely swamped on a Saturday early afternoon when everyone comes for brunch. The tea and coffee in the little squeeze-through pots was lukewarm and in my teas there was hardly any loose tea in it. We were four people and all of us were disappointed. None of us will return to The Organic Grill.
