This place was terrific. I felt like I was back in Italy. The bartenders/waiters were speaking Italian to each other and it had that European flair about it. I had the red snapper and it was FABULOUS! One of the best I've had. It sits on one of the cutest streets in the village. Great ambiance, wonderful food, and all in all an excellent time. I recomend to all. One of NYC best!

Food is great, portions generous, yummy bread to start with outrageous sauce for dipping. Just extremely tight and way to noisy. Crowd was interesting and low key, great for neighborhood italian, maybe not necessary to leave you neighborhood, or make that excursion. When it's warm out, sitting outside could be lovely with the exception of the other night when a motocycle parked itself out front and left their engine running and we got fumagated sitting waiting for a table. That's what happens when you have small intimate streets.

The tiramisu and peach creme brulee were fantastic - highly recommended! Lovely romantic ambiance too! Entree was less pleasing - I ordered a tomato sauce with pieces of wild boar on spirals that had no taste. Overall good value just avoid the boar!
