The food was fantastic! The best soft shell crabs we've ever had.Perfectly battered and sauteed to perfection. The watermelon salad with country ham was just the right compliment to the crabs. Absolutly wonderful pound cake with peaches for desert. Run, don't walk to this great place, there is even a patio area outside where you can enjoy your dinner under the stars. We'll be back, see you there!

Peaches is a breathe of fresh air for Brooklyn i like it better than the smoke joint personally!! Some of the servers are lackadaisy but The Bartender Ron is great!!! If he is there sit at bar for great advice on cocktails and grub! The decor is hip and fresh! very simple and outdoor patio is a great option! The barbecue rib platter can cure any hunger pain and the lemon poppy seed pound cake is refreshing!

Terrible service from an unenthusiastic wait staff highlight the underwhelming dining experience that is Peaches, not to mention cold food delivered in excess of an hour after placing an order with a wait staff offering every excuse instead of a simple apology. The meals are overpriced and my credit card was used to pay for someone else's meal (again, I got no apology for the mix up). If the service is going to be bad at least they could lower the prices, and if the prices are going to be so high at least the service could be more pleasant. Bed-Stuy deserves better! Sadly, in an area that is hungry for more restaurants, the owners, who obviously do not identify with the neighborhood, are taking advantage of that fact by doing nothing to improve the restaurant's obvious shortcomings. I expect for this place, like the last restaurant that occupied the same space a year ago, to close shop once the area's residents get the inevitable same unfortunate treatment I had.
