I seriously doubt that this outfit is slow smoking the meat over hickory or mesquite. It is tasteless. Nothing to do with Texas or even good.

I would believe that this place (actually the orig LIC one) is the reason real BBQ is roaring in NYC. The brisket and ribs cant be touched! Incredible. The links are a nice addition (kielbasa) and how could you not want pulled pork? Get the onion rings! A little bit of the sauces is nice you wont need much. Theres one in Manhatan now but I'm staying here... its true southern smoked food, delicious and theres sports tv

When word gets out about this place, I will surely be sorry! The brisket was perfect, and the ribs were great too!! And, you must have the collard greens, and even the potato salad. My only dissapointment was the fact that Pearsons was not offering the sampler platters the night we dined there, as we wanted to taste everything!! Although you should expect a long wait for a table, you will be rewarded with the best BBQ in NYC. And the wait is not so bad since, we relaxed with a few Blue Ribbons to get us into the mood.
