Unlike a lot of other places in the neighborhood this place is lacking an ounce of pretension. The dining room is simple, traditionally rustic and inviting and the wait staff are friendly and attentive. Compared to many an Italian menu you may find this one limited but I applaud their decision to focus on making fewer dishes but making them really well. They have several of the traditional dishes you'll find on any Italian menu but wonderfully executed, they also have a few surprises should you feel adventurous.
