I have lived in New York all my life and have been to many many Pizza places and ordered in as well from many more. This is without question my favorite. The crust is very thin and the Fresh Mozzarella is the greatest tasting and most addictive pizza I have ever had. I highly recommend this pizza to everyone. I order from the one on Second Avenue. You must try it once and you too will be hooked.

I have had pizza deilivery from everywhere that will come to me, and when PIE is good, it's good. I am a big fan of the egplant pie - crispy crust with real mozzarella. However, PIE can be inconsistant. I can get amazing pies from them, but I can also get pies that are a bit cold with eggplant that is a bit firm. Overall, it's good on average, great on occasion.

thin crust pizza; standard toppings and not so standard. fun decor, good music. my friends and i go whenever we are in the area. we call it the 'indie' pizza place. the fresh cubed tomato and motzarella pizza is my favorite. the paninis are also quite delicious. the service is good. a couple of times, our food had been brought to our table (when not busy). i give this resatuarant an overall 9 out of 10.

$17 for two terrible slices on paper plates with sodas

The place got a lot of publicity and I was surprised to see it looks no better than your typical slice place. You pick up the stuff at the counter, get the bottles of sodas and sit, only to find you're eating two, dry pieces of pizza that have no taste at all. When my husband told me we'd paid $17 for what would have been about $7 at any other pizza place, I was in shock. This place is a total rip-off. They do have an enormous selection of toppings. We tried the plain, which really drove home how tasteless the sauce and cheese are. We also had eggplant, which the girls behind the counter recommended, not any better. The crust is thin, but unpleasant. In fact, I'm a pizza lover and enjoy most styles of pizza, yet this was just not good. Everything felt as if it had been sitting around. For $17 you should get good pizza and pleasant surroundings.

Sure, having your pizza served to you using garden shears allegedly works in Rome, probably because once you exit the shop, you're in ... ROME! Bottom line: the pizza here is barely OK by local standards. The tastes are good as are the many options, but the crackery crust is overdone and a mess to eat. Although the decor swings to a 'Rollerball'/hipster vibe, it's really not a destination pizzaria. The seating is largely communal, and it's self-serve. After trying this, I realize I prefer pizza by the slice, minus the scissors.

Thin is good, and these are very thin-crust and crispy. They are layed out on butcher block and the choice is huge. Fried egg? Bacon? Crisps? Or salad. Actually, the Greek salad pizza looked good but on closer inspection it was buh-oring. The bacon pizza, however. Baby. Crispy. Dee-licious. Prosciutto flew into a friend's mouth and he wouldn't let me taste. Eggplant was good, too. But slow. Jeepers. One little person slicing, with a lonely pair of shears, slices, charged by the lb, and warming them in an oven which needs a flock of other ovens to cope with the demand. And a liquor license would be nice. Light red wine with pizza? Yeees. If I have to wait this long for self-serve pizza which arrives kind of coolish, I need to take the edge off. Coca-cola won't crack it.
