Great Food, Terrible Service

The service was exceptionally slow. I think they were having the busboys bring out the food the day I went, they seemed lost and confused. The pizza is really really good though. I recommend getting a little more than you would at another pizza place unless you want to leave hungry. The benches outside are nice, especially for people watching.

When I talk of authentic Italian pizza I don't mean famous rays. Pizza straight from Italy is always thin crust covered with fresh ingredients of which anchovies and zucchini are always options. I had walked by the restaurant Posto about a week earlier and saw diners feasting on the signature Italian dish. I wasn't let down by the pizza. Pies cooked to order on thin crust covered with buffalo mozzarella or fresh ricotta, perfection. It was without a doubt the closest thing to eating in Trastevere. The restaurant wasn't pulling any punches it even served wine out of small cups...normal for getting served house wine in Rome, less common for dinner in NYC. If you pass by or just have a craving, Posto is worth a visit. Just don't expect good service. Like any authentic Italian eatery the food delivers ~ the service doesn't.

Posto is right around the corner from my apartment and my roommates and I go here all of the time. The pizza is AMAZING, all of the servers are really nice, and they have outdoor seating that I can bring my dog along to (they also give him a water bowl every time). This place is delicious and a real treat.

This is a local for me, so I've eaten here regularly. It's a perfect quaint neighborhood pizzaria, and surprise surprise, the pizza is great. It's a really good thin almost cracker crust. aside from a standard selection of toppings, the pepperoni and proscuitto are high quality and recommended strongly. The salads can be a little weak and recently they raised their prices, but I still think a strong quality value at a great neighborhood location (great for kids) with a fun jazzy juke box. Definitely one of my favorites.

There can be long waits on weekend nights, but the pizza is worth it in my opinion. If you like (very) thin crust pizza you should try it.

Great neighborhood, family restaurant with amazing thin crust pizzas so addicting that you can't help but keep going back!

Had a couple of slices for lunch this week - great deal 2 slices + soda $5...although I did pay more for extra toppings. Crust was perfectly thin and crispy, juicy mozarella and sun-dried tomaotes.Very friendly and helpful service- would definitely go back.

Pizza was greasy and had wrong toppings, salad greens tasted of dirt and cheesecake was grainy. All in all it was not worth the call it took to order the food.
