Wonderful service. we had the wings and a cabbage salad with nuts and apples. both wonderful. The wings were very delicate and almost lollipop like - perfectly done. The salad was wonderful. For dinner we had the pork schnitzel and the cod. both excellent. I have to say that what struck me most was the service.

My favorite bravarian resto in manhattan. I feel right at home. The beer selection is superb. I'm a huge fan of beers from Weihenstephan, so I'm always happy to pay a visit and relax.

Blaue Gans is a lovely local tribeca restaurant - medium sized room with soaring ceilings and large windows and mirrors combine to give a sense of space. There are booths and tables along the side and a more communal dining feel at the centre. We've eaten there many times now, the dinners are reliably good, we've never had anything we dislike, and the schnitzl is excellent. It's also very good for brunch, with delicious pastries and good coffee, as well as perfect boiled eggs. It's sophisticated but has a laid back feel to it, very child friendly. Lunch and breakfast are very reasonably priced, dinner slightly more expensive.
