I always liked rice pudding but this was probably the best I have ever had. I had the Mascarpone with cherries. 10 times more tasty than Pinkberry a couple doors down would have been. The decor is a little cheesy and all the signs about "forget your diet, etc." you can do without but the rice pudding was super tasty

We walked into this place on our way to Lombardi's for pizza, and what a pleasant surprise! Over the course of two visits (we had to come back before leaving the city), we probably had the countergirls let us sample every flavour they had, my hands-down favourite being the cross-country cheesecake (or something like that - the point is, it had cheescake in it, and tasted mighty fine). Sure the packaging is plastic, but as long as you re-use the things (they're microwaveable), you can alleviate some personal guilt, plus I think they're well-designed and cool-looking (especially the spoon/paddle that fits into the lid), to boot. A bit pricey for rice pudding, but you get a whole lot, even with the solo size. It's a fun, bright space inside and the staff is very friendly.

not a huge rice pudding fan, I still decided that I have to see what this place is all about. It reminds me of any other dessert bar with a variety of flavors and toppings. The rice pudding is good. It is extremely rich and filling. If you can, definitely share it with someone else, because you might not be able to finish it. I thought the cake flavors were better than the fruit flavors.

Absolutely delicious. Throwing out the plastic is a moral dilemma, but unrelated to the quality of their product. Atmosphere is fun and inviting.

tons of plastic - and they don't recycle any of it

I accompanied my friend (a rice pudding fan) on a recent visit to nyc. She had the pumpkin flavor and said it was 'just ok'. But the worst part of the visit was learning that all the plastic used to serve the pudding (and there's lots of it, with the tops and bottoms of the bowls plus the spatula-type utensil you eat with) goes straight into the trash. How does a company in 2005/6 get away with unnecessarily dumping thousands of pieces of plastic into our landfills each week instead of recycling -- and most likely inflating the prices they charge their customers to do it?!

If you haven't been here yet you don't know what you're missing. Unbelievably tasty rice pudding flavours - ask to sample before you commit to a whole bowl or get a mixture of two... my favourite is cinammon with roasted apple topping - heaven!

Delicious flavors from the best ingredients- worth the carbs. Cherry Mascarpone, Death by Chocolate, Mango Madness, Sesame, etc... Definitely enjoyable but barely justifies the $6 portions. Wish the containers were a little more "walk-and-eat" friendly.

A little pricey but very fun. The best part is trying each flavor and trying to pick one or two. Some of the "boring" flavors actually turn out to be absolutely excellent!

The selection is staggering...I never knew there were so many rice pudding possibilities. The best in my book is the cherry mascarpone but I also love the strawberry. We tried the pineapple basil and yes...you should be adventerous for that one. The decor is fun and clean and modern. The service is friendly and very consistent. PLUS the bowls they give you to "take away" are funky and great to use again.
