My wife and I took her visiting aunt here for Saturday brunch. We ordered a salad, blueberry pancakes and french toast. The pancakes were the best I have had in a long time, and the french toast wasn't far behind. The salad was fresh and tasty. The chef is very helpful with the selections and makes sure everyone is well taken care of. The service is professional. There's a garden in the back which looks pretty cute, although it was too cold that day to go outside. If you live in Riverdale, it's definitely worth it to stop by, just don't be surprised by the Manhattan prices. It's worth it though.

I'm so in love with the Riverdale Garden, I'm getting married there. They have the freshest food, good wine and the yummiest desserts anywhere. I highly recommend Brunch--go for the homemade chicken sausage on wilted greens, with creamy grits and eggs over easy.

At last, a restaurant with some serious food in Riverdale. Well-prepared dishes utilize organic and local ingredients. Ambience is friendly and relaxed. A worthy addition to the neighborhood... and worth traveling above 96th street for!

The Riverdale Garden brings me back time after time...great food, very pleasant staff, wonderful wines and amazing desserts. It's worth a trip up from downtown, and if you're already uptown, why go down when this high quality food and ambience is in Riverdale?! I fully recommend it.
