I don't understand the bad reviews. What more could you ask for? Great views of Manhattan, sexy and edgy atmosphere, makes you appreciate NYC. Food is excellent and they pay attention to every detail. Staff is very friendly. I'm a foodie, this place is great!

Prosciutto pizza was ok, trout dish with rife pilaf was very good. Overpriced for sure. Friendly staff but they were out of bread (?!) when we went to the place at 10:40pm.

We thought we were either in the “twilight zone” or on an episode of “Punked”. We went on a Saturday, during Brunch at 12:30pm. Before entering we looked at the menu and saw that they had burgers and sandwiches. Once seated and drinks ordered, we looked at the menu at the table and no such burgers nor sandwiches were to be found. The menu had dinner items. Who eats lobster and pork chops at 12:30 in the afternoon. Before I go on I must say that we did ask both the waiter and the hostess if the restaurant served burgers. We were told that the menu (menu with burgers and sandwiches) was only for the weekdays. We decided to just have salads. As we waited for the salads, we saw burgers being served to two other customers. I asked another waiter about the burger question and he stated that they did serve burgers but it was upon request. Well, I did inquire about it, but I guess I was supposed to have a magic word or something. We didn’t bring it up with our waiter nor the hostess as to not be confrontational.

I've been here three times strictly for the view (which is superior to the one from the Brooklyn Promenade). The food is generally sluggish, not fresh, and all-around pretty boring. If management toned down the menu and used better ingredients, this restaurant could be a real gem in a blossoming neighborhood...

Its pretty bad when one orders fish and it turns out to be frozen tv dinner fish as it was stated it was stuffed fllunder with crab meat. What they misinformed me not to mention was that it was stuffed with polk fish as in fake crab sticks, like they use to make california rolls. The fish tasted like it had been frozen for months. No salt or pepper or any other seasonings. One good thing about this meal? the cheesecake was good, but it turned out to be a $45 dollar cheese cake as this is how much my lunch cost me. Woujd i ever return? NOOOOOOOOOOO WAyyyyyyyyyy

I saw the NYMag review, checked out the website then booked a table. I followed up to ensure that we would have an outdoor table, and got a confirmation. We were running a little late, so I called to let them know -- no prob, your table will be ready for you. We got there, and guess what? Our table was not ready. We spent more than 30 mins in the lounge before our table was ready, yet the outdoor seating was not at full capacity. When we finally got our table, our server was nice but inexperienced. What really tanked it for us was the food -- the filet mignon and the t-bone were nowhere near better restaurant quality. Both cuts were very tough and excessively marbled and had to be sent back. Stick with drinks at the bar if you must, where you can enjoy some good live jazz.
