I Absolutely LOVE the aged steak for 2. I always order it. Carlo, owner and head chef, ages these to perfection! Roberta's is amazing and unfortunately for me, a lot of people have found out about them resulting in either long term planning ahead, getting there very early, or just accepting, hey this is new york...have a beer, chill by the fire pit and learn about roof top agro! way to go guys! OPEN ANOTHER LOCATION PLEASE!!!!!

FYI this restaurant is no longer BYOB. They serve beer (Six Point!) and wine.

I went here with a bunch of gays on a Saturday night. The location is crazy. It's in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by warehouses and a grain elevator. But then all of a sudden you come upon Roberta's. The inside is very cool, with just the bare essentials. The food is AMAZING. It was one of the best pizzas I've ever had, comparable with Grimaldi's and Fornino. And it is just ridiculously cheap, largely because it's BYOB (or, obviously, BYOW). I was with three other people and we got appetizers and pizzas and with a 25% tip it was only $22 per person. Why did we leave a 25% tip? Because we were all obsessed with our waiter, who was the most delicious man alive. He alone is worth making the trek!

the service and food were both amazing. our waiter was more than nice and knowledgeable about the food, which i find very rare. the pizza is seriously incredible. i thought motorinos was the best, until i went to robertas.

If you want great tasting pizzas and a great atmosphere, you should go to Roberta's. I am quite a regular over there.

My friends and I dined at Roberta's this past Sunday, on a friend from Florida recomendation, oddly enough. We were pleasantly surprised by the level of quality of the food and interesting selection of dishes. The wood fired pizzas were top notch and the choice of toppings sweet and savory. My wife loved the Bee Sting pizza, topped off with a drizzle of honey amoung other wonderful ingredients. The service was attentive and the decor fun and friendly, the short wait for dinner was well worth it. When you drive up to Roberta's resist your urge to keep driving, for fear of the block and graffiti covered entrance, you'll be happy you did.

While I love the food and vibe here, the growing list of complaints makes me less interested in going back. I'm happy to see my neighborhood gem continue to grow and build a profitable business, but I don't understand how they simply cannot allow me to order a pizza for take-out?! The guy on the phone yesterday bit my head off while explaining that they were just too damn busy for take out. Busy or not, learn how to keep up with the growth or risk pissing off your base customers who helped you build your place up and will keep you busy when the press dies down. I'm also annoyed that every time I go I have to flag down my server and they seem annoyed that I actually need something from them. Do your job and earn your tip.

I love the atmosphere here - but I don't think the food was anything to write home about. Also, the service was awful.
