After a night of (fill in the blank with ballet, opera, jazz, etc.) at Lincoln Center, a meal at Rosa Mex is a delightful way to end the evening. Immediately upon being seated, make sure you order the guacamole. The fresh ingredients and the preparation make it absolutely magnificent. And I don't even like guacamole! The entrees are equally tasty (the oxtail enchilada with raisins is a must) and go quite well with their signature margarita. In short, I can't wait to get back.

I took my boyfriend here for his birthday and we had such a nice time! The food was absolutely fantastic and our server was great. The bright atmosphere was very nice and as the sun set the restaurant became more romantic. The prices are a little high, but it is well worth it. A good tip: If your server recommends something, take his/her advice!! The drinks and dessert recommended were fabulous!

So far, I've been to Rosa Mexicano at Lincoln Center 3 times and I've had an awesome time!! The fabulous food (especially the guacamole with nachos), unbelievable sangria (my boyfriend was blown away by it), and the trendy decor and friendly waiters make this one of our favorite Mexican restaurant in the city. Have fun!!

Rosa Mexicano serves up satisfying south of the border cuisine. The guacamole made at your table is as good as it gets. The ceviches are very good, but lack a certain sizzle. Main coursws do not routinely match the appetizers. Great place to kick back and enjoy a margarita and the fantastic guacamole

Rosa Mexicano is a lovely, two level feast for both the eyes and stomach near Lincoln Center. Upon arrival, we were immediately seated (this was fairly early, your experience may vary). Our waiter quickly arrived to take our drink orders, and carefully explained the various Mexican beers available. We started with the incredible guacamole, which is worth every penny. I did note that the waiter's concept of "hot" was different than my own - if you like hot food, order the hottest version of whatever you're getting, otherwise you'll risk dissappointment. Overall the food and atmosphere were excellent, but it really was the service that made the experience special - our waiter took the time to explain and recommend, and did so in a truly knowledgeable and enthusiastic way. If you're looking for Mexican, but want something a few notches above Fresca Tortilla or Burritoville, this is an excellent, upscale, fun choice.

rosa is a good restaurant in the sense that it has great food, yet i cant seem to get over paying 20 dollars for two tortillas (enchiladas de mole poblano) sure it was good but the same fare can be consumed for a fifth of the price. and by the way take notice of the extremly dirty chairs with their 900% profit margin shouldnt they be able to afford clean chairs? And dont get me started with their $14 guacamole i mean honestly is one smashed avocadoe worth $14?

My boyfriend decided to take me to Rosa Mexicano's for Valentine's Day. I was immediatley impressed by the decor with the water scaped wall and the candle lit tables. We ordered a pomegrante margarita which was unbelievable, they must use the best tequila available. When we arrived at the top of the staircase to be seated a waiter took our drinks to our table for us! I'm no tused to this kind of treatment. the freshly made guagamole was also excellent. The waiters catered to us but were not hovering over us or pushing us to finish. My boyfriend ordered in plain english Fajitas. The cheese which they told me was chuwawua cheese was the best thing to touch my tastebuds, it was delicious. Overrall this restaurant is amazing!
