Went there last Sunday and going back tonight. Same woman, same menu for us The curry flavor there, over anything else, is the secret. Can't wait. Stay tuned...

This review comes from a very picky Indian food eater. I don't often share my dining experience but I felt that a shout out was necessary for Salaam Bombay. At Salaam Bombay you will find a large variety of Indian fare. Pretty much anything you want, you will find here. I even ran across a few dishes that I have never heard of. The use of spices and what must me experience in the kitchen lends to the fantastic experience. When you first arrive you may feel that the restaurant is a bit upscale, but you will quickly feel comfortable and see that the staff is extremely friendly. Top notch joint. I recommend that you check it out.

We love Indian Food and I have to say Salaam Bombay is among the BEST the city has to offer; They have the BEST lunch buffet in town (go on the weekends because you won't get a seat on the weekdays).

Salaam Bombay is seriously one of my favorite restaurants in all of Manhattan, not even just based on the cuisine. The options are varied - from Machhi Jalfrezi to Surti Thali - everything is cooked well and the staff is really helpful if you're having a tough time chosing. The best part is that you can get 50% off your next meal with BuyWithMe NYC. Here's the link http://bit.ly/acEulM - it's a great deal.

I love Salaam Bombay, I come here pretty regularly and the food is great. I love the naan and the chicken tikka marsala and the service is always great. The waiters are always polite and helpful in making suggestions. I'm really excited too, I just found out about a great deal they are doing with buywithme where for $15 you can get $30 worth of food and drinks! So great, here is the link to check it out: bit.ly/acEulM. Hope you guys take advantage of it!

When it comes to Indian food and service Salaam Bombay surpasses the rest. In addition they have the best buffet in town. Go on the weekends to avoid the rush.

Hate this place....... the stupid waiter gave me an attitude when i told him that food was cold. I have been there couple of times, i guess they get thier food from frozen section of indian grocery stores! Some dumb waiter is concoting sick sauces....well maybe thats also from frozen section! Will never go there again.

I'VE BEEN COMING TO THIS RESTAURANT FOR YEARS...AND IT JUST SEEMS TO BE GETTING BETTER AND BETTER. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST INDIAN FOOD I'VE EVER HAD. MUST TRY THE RACK OF LAMB, CHICKEN WINGS AND CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA.
