We love Indian Food and I have to say Salaam Bombay is among the BEST the city has to offer; They have the BEST lunch buffet in town (go on the weekends because you won't get a seat on the weekdays).

Salaam Bombay is seriously one of my favorite restaurants in all of Manhattan, not even just based on the cuisine. The options are varied - from Machhi Jalfrezi to Surti Thali - everything is cooked well and the staff is really helpful if you're having a tough time chosing. The best part is that you can get 50% off your next meal with BuyWithMe NYC. Here's the link http://bit.ly/acEulM - it's a great deal.

I love Salaam Bombay, I come here pretty regularly and the food is great. I love the naan and the chicken tikka marsala and the service is always great. The waiters are always polite and helpful in making suggestions. I'm really excited too, I just found out about a great deal they are doing with buywithme where for $15 you can get $30 worth of food and drinks! So great, here is the link to check it out: bit.ly/acEulM. Hope you guys take advantage of it!

The food here has a huge variety of whatever you like in Indian food, veg & non veg, their kebabs are just Awesome !! This restaurant has the best Indian Desi food, I had in New York, be it the lunch buffet or dinner, its such a great place to spend your time, be it with your family or a date. The service is very classy yet friendly. I recommend Salaam Bombay to everyone.

When it comes to Indian food and service Salaam Bombay surpasses the rest. In addition they have the best buffet in town. Go on the weekends to avoid the rush.

Hate this place....... the stupid waiter gave me an attitude when i told him that food was cold. I have been there couple of times, i guess they get thier food from frozen section of indian grocery stores! Some dumb waiter is concoting sick sauces....well maybe thats also from frozen section! Will never go there again.

Must go for the Lunch deal Buffet. A great variety of food...all tasty and fresh. Wait staff was excellent. Reasonable cost...I go there with groups of friends or co-workers and it is all a pleasure.

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for a few years. It’s very cozy, clean, and the lunch buffet has a great variety. Everyone is very friendly and hospitable. Try the chicken wings appetizer (its awesome)

The resturant decor is OK. The quality of food is not good. If u order a spicy food it would be very HOT. The Service isn't of better quality. The desert as said in the menu wasn't availiable.
