I've never actually eaten dinner here but I've done dozens of happy hours. The regular bartenders are great. Great spot for a happy hour date if you can come early and nab a side seat. They have really cheap/excellent happy hour food as well.

Sapa is one of my new faves in the area, and it's perfect for after-work--their happy hour is one of the best values I've seen. I don't really understand the comments about bad service. Everyone I've met there, and I've been now about 5-6 times, has been pleasant and professional, very knowledgeable. The food is great--especially the spring rolls and sliders--and although the mixed drinks could be a BIT stronger, their wine list is excellent. Highly recommended for after work w/friends, and a sexy spot for a date, too.

The vibe and food are good, but the service is surprisingly bad. We went to celebrate my husbands birthday. His sister left a gift,as a surprise, with the hostess, who promised to give it to him when we arrived. I had also requested a candle be placed on dessert. It was a birthday dinner. They totally forgot the candle AND the present, which we only found out the next day via phone call. But the next day, when we called and asked if we could pick it up, they said sorry, they're closed for a private party. Only after asking a second time did they agree that we could pick it up. Really a shame, because the food was pretty good.

I recently dined at Sapa on 24th and by the end of the night I had a great buzz and was ready to make out. The Service was friendly and sassy, which put me in the right mood. I can not wait to vacation at Sapa again!

The decor is modern and beautiful, yet very cozy and comfortable. The menu is exciting and different, making it hard to decide what to order. Everything is plated to perfection, and the food is DELICIOUS. I have done a night out with friends and a business lunch with clients - perfect each tiime. And check out the cleverly designed co-ed bathroom downstairs! Very cool. Don't forget a reservation!

I have been a few times. I have always received more than perfect service. The decor is beautiful, however, it is a little bright, which makes it not so inviting for an intimate dinner. Very good for dinner with a big group of friends. Don't forget to check out the amazing restrooms!!! Turn down the lights...

I went to Sapa for brunch with my family on Mother's Day. The food was wonderful, everyone ordered a different dish and everything was delicious. "Standard" items were given a unique twist--for example, the pancakes have a light lemon flavor and csme with a homemade blueberry-honey butter; the goat cheese omelette had delicious wild mushrooms of different types. The service was excellent. I believe this restaurant just opened for brunch a month ago, so perhaps that is why the service was so attentive (it was not super-crowded). The decor is somewhat stark and modern. The bathrooms are decorated with carved wood with an Asian feel, really pretty. I would definitely go back, and am looking forward to trying Sapa for dinner.

SAPA is a great Manhattan dinning experience. The decor and overall atmosphere is excellent. Service is outstanding. And while the Asian food is not perfection, it is very good. Add a real New York bars scene and the total package is first class.

Our new favorite place.walking in we were immediately struck by the beauty of Sapa.even for its enormous size it remains to be a warm and sensual place. The hostess greeted us informing us that our table would be ready in a few minutes and escorted us to the bar for drinks.the bar was a great place to people watch.Try the mint lemonade.yummy!! Our dinner was great!! being that my husbands eyes were bigger than our stomachs, we did order too much food, but nonetheless enjoy it all.the assortment of rolls were delicious,as was the pear salad. The cod was the best I'd had in years, and my husband still raves about the trio of pork.It melts in your mouth. On to dessert. our waiter, who was awesome throughout the entire meal, suggested we try the chocolate bomb or the creme brulee. We ordered both.Simply devine!! Overall, a wonderful dining experience!!from the accomodating staff, fantastic food to the MUST SEE bathrooms, our Sapa experience was simply put,WONDERFUL.Already making plans to revist.

I came to NY for the weekend and planned dinner with six others for Sapa. We waited for 1 1/2 hours before being seated, we had to request appetizers while we were waiting. We finally got our food which was enjoyable. This is aesthetically a beautiful restaurant with extremely poor service and management, which I did complain to. I don't normally write reviews but thought I had to in this case so please don't waste your money and time.
