So many of the readers' reviews were negative, especially about the service, so we went expecting the worst. We were pleasantly surprised. Not only was the food fabulous, but our waiter was charming and professional. If you want to have the food your way, go to Burger King. If you want authentic Italian cuisine at its finest, this is the place.

My wife and I went here when we first moved to Queens a year ago. It's great. You know all the food is made with great ingredients. The staff was very pleasant. It is a bit pricey, considering you're not in the city and in Woodside--in a very desolate area. But, the quality is not to be beaten. Bring some extra cash (no credit cards) and enjoy an amazing meal.

The place is out of this world, very cozy, with excelent service, and the food don't mention. Its just amazing. I am so happy that I don't have to go to the city anymore for a great taste. And they even have their own gourmmet store in back, belive it or not!!!!!!

A FRIEND OF MINE IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY TOLD ME ABOUT THIS PLACE AND I THOUGHT I WOULD GO TO SEE WHAT ALL THE BUZZ WAS ABOUT. I THOUGHT MANHATTAN HAD THE BEST RESTAURANTS UNTIL SAPORI. THE FOOD WAS TOP NOTCH, VERY DIFFERENT AND CREATIVE, NOT YOUR TYPICAL ITALIAN EATERY. THE SERVICE WAS REMARKABLE, THE ATMOSPHERE STRAIGHT OUT OF A FELLINI MOVIE.I LOVE THE FACT THAT THEY DO NOT SERVE TAP WATER, REMINDED ME OF WHEN I STUDIED ABROAD IN ROME.WORTH MY TIME AND MONEY.

Don't listen to the waiter reviews. Our waiter, Danielle, was excellent. They know their food there and they know how to eat and enjoy. I don't eat out in Queens often, but this is a must go and i thought the entire concept of the place was great. Excellent food, music, wine, etc. This is one of the top Italian places i have been to. Does it compare to Babbo, perhaps not, but I would say it compares favorably with Lupa.

Who would have guessed that a wholesale grocer hidden in the industrial part of Queens would provide an incredible dining experience? Fettucine Al'Antonio is fabulous, and their carpaccio is to die for. Not exactly the health conscious with the use of butter and (truffle)oil, but it is worth the next few weeks you'll be hitting the gym! Many things have changed since I first discovered the place in 2000. Friendliness and colorful charms of waitstaff were swapped with arrogant and pushy types, but the food is better than ever. A visit to an ATM is a must before coming here if you're leaving home without Amex. And yes, they don't serve tap water.

Food was different but very good. Pricey by Queens standards, but not by Manhatten. The ambiance was nice, enjoyed the music. Had rabbit and pork chop (it was not a double cut as advertised) Our issue was the waiter: seemed haughty. When we did not order a bottle of wine, he wrinkled his nose. They seem to prefer foodies as clientele. But I would go back, and do buy cheeses there often
