The food is very good the vibe is cool.It is not a good place for a first date because the house and techno music can be a little loud...but since you know not to go on ur first date there you can go on ur 3rd date cause the resturants vibe, looks, food and price are jus right, ive brought a lot of people here out of 20 people; all 20 have been impressed ....good eatz ya'll..and nice crowd.,diverse.

I've been to this restaurant about 10 times so far. The 1st. time I went was 6 yrs. ago. Back than it was great, no lines, just a nice cool out spot. Since everyone got hip to it, it's not the same as before. Next time I go I know to leave extra early so I don't have to wait. The Mojoto's or excellent.

the food is actually good, but the service is slow and not so great. the music was so loud, that you couldn´t even talk to anyone.

when your meal is so inexpensive! This restaurant is absolutely gorgeous and the food is great for the price. Drinks are reasonable and well made. We went for a friend's birthday celebration and had an excellent time. That said, it is definitely a younger crowd - we're all in our 20s - and the service leaves a little something to be desired as our food didn't come out at the same time, which was a little annoying, but, again, it's hard to complain when you're enjoying a very inexpensive meal. I would go again - the restaurant doesn't try to pretend to be anything it isn't. Advice: get there early because it fills up fast after 9.

The wait is long, the place is cool, the appetizers are better than the main courses, take lots of them, the food is not bad at all.......the prices are sweet! The ambiance is just very kewl/hip, Techno/Trance with a resident DJ. Parking is hard to find, L Train Not too Far. I keep going there....cuz I love it. Always packed ... Not for romantic dates it's hard to have conversation with all the noise, but I just love noisy restaurant!

Just got back from dinner at Sea and I have nothing but good things to say. My boyfriend and I waited for about 30 minutes, but it is the holiday season. We found a seat at the bar, and were seated before we knew it. The atmosphere is incredible, a bit dark, but that adds to the ambiance. As for the music, it added to the experience, and certainly wasn't too loud. The food was absolutely delicious, and the portions were more than ample. I would definitely recommend the triangle curry puffs as an appetizer and the green tea cheesecake for dessert.

its pretty obvious from outside that its loud and crowded and for a younger crowd (20's)... if its not your taste then go somewhere else!!! i loved the place fun and cheap!!!!

If you're really interested in trying the food at Sea, it's best to go before 5pm, even on a weekday. Otherwise, you'll be battling it out with the tourists and clubgoers who descend upon this 'hotspot' on a daily basis. The menu is filled with many familiar Thai dishes and most are executed well (the appetizers, in particular), but all of that gets pushed to the side once the DJ starts up. For what it's worth, the cocktails are delicious and the music is actually pretty good (if you're into house). But to call Sea a restaurant is rather misleading; it should instead be billed as a club that happens to serve Thai food.

I've been to sea several times before. Although some find it to be Loud, for teenagers, etc... I find it to be a "HOT Spot". I'm in the music business I appreciate the pumping music (which gets you in a good mood). The totally mixed URBAN Clientele is not a teenager hang out but young professionals coming together. I went with my 21 year old Son, Daughter, his GF and my wife. All the food was off the Hook. As for the price, $248.00 with tip for appetizers, main course & plenty of drinks was great. Any other restaurant would have doubled this price for 5. I'm going back with my friends (8) this Sat. to introduce them to the experience.

This place is certainly not going to be to everyones taste. If your companions don't mind eating in a night-club setting with pounding pounding techno music, then I would recommend SEA. The decor with a huge Chinese dragon is remarkable and the food is reasonably priced and tastes better than you might expect. Since the place is so busy, the pushy staff will bring the check as soon as you have finished eating. You've waited ages for the table so ignore them trying to get you to leave and order some cocktails and soak up the atmosphere. They have tried to make it feel like a club anyway.
