You should go to this place if you don't like good service, want to be scammed, and love spending the whole night hugging your toilet bowl and looking at what your food is like after you ate it. The place looks like a strip club on the inside. The menu looked good, with a few seafood dishes at a decent price. I got a seafood pasta which was their special that day. It was all right although some of the clams tasted kind of strange... The tip was already included in the check, 17%, for a table of three... The waiter never told us about it so we almost paid additional tip. Two hours after our visit, I was knocked over with a bad case of food poisoning. So avoid going to this place for the sake of your mood, your wallet, and your health.

I've had many late night meals at Serafina Broadway after the theater, the pasta and fish is my favorite and my friends always order the pizza, the sausage one is a favorite. Last week I had a friend staying nearby and suggested going there for breakfast, I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they have a full menu with omelettes, pancakes and waffles. I couldn't decide so I ordered the The Manhattan which came with scrambled eggs, potatoes, fresh orange juice and the best corn muffin I've had in my life. My friend got the waffle with berries, delicious. Very good energy for so early in the morning (8am gulp!) and we sat by the window and people watched. Fun breakfast!

I was there last night, first the hostest was rude, then we waited for 20 minutes to get water or bread on the table. I don't even think the waiter knew he had a table (because the hostest just sat back down on the couch to talk to a friend). The waiter was nice but the overall service was less then desierable. Food was good for the price. But I have had better. I won't go back...there are just too many other good resturants in the city. Someone tell the hostest that she she should get some manners....Hey. I'm not a tourist..Its all about customer service...

Now I know why the service charge is included in the bill. If it was'nt our waitress would not make a cent. Comming from Sweden and knowing that the service in US-restaurants are among the best in the world, this was a cold shower. Tryed to access their home page, without any success. There is no plase for outside review. The hot dog stands in the corners have better service. What ever you do, don't go there.

Because I work down the block, I keep giving Serafina chance after chance - and I always leave disappointed. The service is absolutely terrible. They consistently take forever to get your order and then never come back to the table to check in or even to deliver the check. It's dismal. Mediocre overpriced food doesn't help either.

Once my friend & I finished our salad, things @ Serafina went down hill. Another table of 2, who sat after us, ate & left, & no sign of our pizza. The waitress did not acknowledge how long we'd been waiting until I nicely brought it to her attention - no apology and still more waiting. When the pizza finally came, the numerous toppings that were supposed to be on it were practically non-existant. You could pick up a whole piece with literally nothing on it. When I tried to speak to the manager, he cut me off mid-sentence, with some BS about the pizza being easier to digest as it was. Now you can all sleep easier knowing that the manager at Serafina Broadway cares about your digestion.

My husband and I came to Serafina's after our reservation at another restaruant wasn't honored (ahemmm....Tao). To sum it up, food was average, service was outstanding, atmosphere was cute and nice. We were seated quickly and eating our appitizers within a half hour.

What a waste...

The food, for the price, was not worth it - the Ray's Pizza next door would've been better for 1/3 the price. The caesar salad for $12 was small, and the dressing tasted like mustard. The pizza was a cheese explosion, and not in a good way. Our server was horrendous, but the rest of the wait-staff was courteous. The ambience was decent, but nothing great. Don't waste your money here.

Every one raves about their Pizza, which is quite good, but their Salmon Dish is their great secret. Do not leave this place without tasting their Mixed Fruit Tart. Worth every penny that desert is. Was not impressed with the sound in this place, but the Modern decor is nice on the eyes.

Serfania Broadway not only occupies much of the lower floor of the Dream Hotel, it adds to the whole package. A Rockwell designed interior envelopes the patron into a Fellini like dream world cinema, basic Italian eats - pizza and pastas - glamour, passion and pleasure. Sure there are better Italians, and sure there are more trendy places, but to have a Serfania filled with trendy Soho/Tribeca types in mid-town must be a dream for the management as well as the customers.
