I was a regular customer and ordered a pick up once in a while. This time I had to return their burned steak because it was burned and the meat was black like coal. A lady was not nice to me and refused to call the manager saying "I am the manager here". She said "Don't call here anymore and don't come again if you don't like our food". I insisted that she let me speak to a chef and forced him to cook another steak in exchange for the burned one. It was not so easy. I spent about an hour of my time. I'll never go back to that place.

The best Thai food I ever tasted...

I needed to find out what this was all about since I do not live too far from this restaurant. Firstly, it is overrated. It is a hangout for the Bay Ridge crowd that wants a change. The wait is way too long and the staff, in particular, the host had a horrible attitude, telling us to "deal with the wait". Not a place you want to take a date or a friend to. If your looking for a good Thai place, think outside the box and look for somewhere different.

My fiance and I had dinner there last night. Walked in sort of early (7pm), had a drink at the bar, and were seated in about 15 minutes. We split the vegetable dumplings (which were tasty) and had our own appetizers. Mine was the Gai Kraprow and she had the Kang Kyo Whan Nuur. Both were perfect portions and came out piping hot (on a very cold night!). We don't consider ourselves Thai connoisseurs, but we thought everything was very good - and our food bill was only $20! Definitely going back as we just moved in around the corner.
