While @SQC might be on the top of the price range it is not out of it's league. The Sunday brunch is charming, and tasty. They do not take reservations, however seating is always accomadating. The food is wonderful, and service fantastic.

Cozy but stylish atmosphere. The calamari (light and crispy, served with a cilantro-lime dip) is fantastic, but they always seem to forget to bring it (this has happened 3 times now). Brunch eggs are all good (Benedict, croques, omlets). Recommend for Brunch.

My friend and I brought our children there for lunch after visiting the museum. After waiting for almost an hour for lunch (btw-we arrived after the lunch crowd). We ordered three burgers, a salad and crab cakes. After waiting all this time they brought the kids adult burgers instead of the kids mini burger. The worst came less then two hours later when I became violently ill from eating the crab cakes. I dine frequently; this has to be the worse restaurant I have ever gone to.

Excellent french bistro cuisine... marvelous crisp frites in a stylish paper cone; she-crab soup, creamy and savory; love the assorted breads served with a head of roasted garlic. Don't miss the sinfully rich hot chocolate, it's like a dessert in itself. This is a perfect spot for a quick, affordable, well prepared bite before a show at the nearby Beacon Theater.

SQC is yet another delicious addition to the now official Upper West Side restaurant revolution. Scott Campbell created the ultimate neighborhood comfort brunch at Avenue – quite an accomplishment considering the old school competition. SQC offers a similar brunch menu to Avenue, but the French-flavored dinner menu is risky and creative. The highlight is the Bellinitini (champagne and vodka!), one of many 'tinis off the inventive drink menu. The price is right if you don't sit at the bar too long, but the bar is the best part. The orange awning is very cool too.
