I had six friends visiting from out of town and couldn't wait to take them to staton social. I made 9:30pm reservations on 1/15/11. We arrived on time. I walked up near the hostess with black hair and waited patiently for her to finish helping a customer. We made eye contact and I waited. She finished helping the customer and looked down at the computer. Another customer walked in and she looked up and helped her. The customer looked at me and apologized for cutting in. So I moved right in front of the hostess. Nothing. She looked back down at her computer. I was starting to wonder if I was invisible. She looked up a few times again to see if anyone else walked in. Finally I said, "excuse me, are you going to help me?" and she gave me this stuck-up reply, "yea, yea, sure". Never had I been treated so rudely in my life. I raved about this place to everyone and anyone, but her attitude made me lose my appetite that night. Thanks to her I will never come back. Staton social, you need to definitely reevaluate your hostess staff because they are the first person to encounter once a customer walks in and that impression makes your establishment look bad whether your food is amazing or not. I was incredibly appalled. Thanks hostess for taking this place off my list. You need to find a new job.

I went there about 2 weeks back on a Saturday evening with a party of 10 after having made reservations in advance. It was my sister's birthday party. We all reached there in time as advised and were shocked to hear that they only had a table for 8. They wanted 2 of us to sit separately. Given that it was a Saturday evening and we couldn't have found another place last minute, we asked that at least 4 of us be seated together but they refused to accommodate. The manager was so rude that he didn't even want to acknowledge the hostess' mistake in confirming our reservation when there were no tables available. The guy completely ruined our mood. Overall, the waitress was nice, food was great but the manager seriously needs to fix his attitude. I am probably never going there again. All he had to do was to be apologetic for their mistake but he refused to do so.

I came here for my sister's birthday with a group of her friends. Every time we asked about the reservation, the hostesses told us our table was being prepared for us, which was clearly a lie. They also said that they could not give us an estimated time of seating. Finally, after waiting forty-five minutes for a table, we asked for the manager, who was incredibly rude and condescending. His attitude colored the rest of the evening. If management budgeted more time per reservation (e.g. assumed that each party would take one and a half hours instead of one hour), this backlog could be easily averted without adversely affecting business. Maybe it is a purposeful move to make the restaurant appear busier or more exclusive than it actually is. The caliber of the food here does not remotely make up for the incompetent management. Go to a restaurant that cares about your experience.
