I had a beautiful brunch here on Sunday. The french toast was killer as was the bloody mary. Our waitress was a gorgeous Swiss girl. Her knowledge of the menu was thorough and all her recommendations spot on.

I go to Supper all the time. It has a great cozy, brick walled feel and amazing food. It is pretty expensive and cash only which is annoying, but other than that, I love Supper. Their specials are always tasty as are their normal menu items. The Pasta e Fagioli soup is especially amazing. The wine list is huge and has some great value bottles. I also love their "pay as you drink" option where you can pay for whatever part of a bottle you drink be it 1/2, 3/4 or all. I highly recommend this place!

I love this restaurant - cute spot, decent service, excellent food, all priced quite reasonably. There is usually a wait, which is annoying as they don't take reservations, but it's worth it! The food is amazing - I always get the lemon spaghetti, but I've tried other dishes and they're all excellent. The little bean dip they give you with your bread is so yummy. The wine list is extensive and you can definitely get some great bottles for a good price. Service is pretty regular. And I love the homey decor. I've been here several times - great find!

Very good food, and a sweet hostess

People are badmouthing the hostesses here, but tonight the one who answered the phone when I reserved for a party of five was friendly and helpful. When we arrived, she even shook my hand (a warm gesture that wasn´t lost on me) and was smiling genuinely at everyone. After dinner I told her I thought she was a very nice hostess but I think it creeped her out. Oh well. I meant it. The food overall was great (especially the Cervo-Venison), and our server was good-natured and explained things well. Service itself was a touch on the slow side between meal stages, but who cares if the food and conversation is good? Plus, they didn´t take empty plates away while others were still eating, so we didn´t feel rushed at all. The back room has an old, vintage feel, so ask for a table back there.

I recently dined at Supper after having heard good reviews of the place but I was in for a harsh dissappointment. After being made to wait 20 minutes for a table (the restaurant was at least half empty) by a bitchy hostess, we were treated to horrific service. Our waiter made us wait over and over again, was unaccomodating, and just simply unpleasant. We might have overlooked this had the food been tasty but it was at best bland. I left the restaurant shortly thereafter hungry as I left my plate untouched after the first bite. Do not be lured by the crowd pleasing decor, eat elsewhere.

Don't eat at the wine bar

I've eaten here a few times and -- apart from a weird chewy pork sausage I ended up with once -- I've always enjoyed myself. However, I warn you not to be tempted to eat at tables in the bar half of the restaurant. Service was godawful. The d#ckhead serving us tried to force us to order the second he handed us the menu. When we declined, he disappeared for half an hour before returning and saying, "What you want?" Our dishes were not properly cleared, so our empty salad plates and bread plates were stacked on the table when the pasta arrived. I don't need to detail the entire debacle, but the point is that they just are not set up to serve over there. Stay away. But the food was good!

Great food if you get past the nasty, bitchy hostess

I've eaten there quite a few times and the food is really good the atmosphere inside is warm and friendly. I love to sit at the counter and watch them cook the food, it's beautiful. Outside is another story... Someone should inform the hostess that it's a restaurant, not a bar with a velvet rope. That she is a hostess, not goddess. Also, that being kind is always more attractive than being nasty, and a bad attitude is not stimulating to the appetite, nor to business. Now I only go when I don't see her outside, she's so rude.

I went there with my partner and had an EXCELLENT brunch outside. We loved the place, we loved the ambience, the waiters (all mexicans/latino) were VERY friendly and efficient, it was crowded but food arrived within 15 minutes after we ordered. I had poached eggs over grilled polenta with slices of prosciutto which was REALLY delicious! My partner had French Toasts, I don't have a real sweet tooth but I tried and loved it, as he did. We will be there soon, actually I want to try their dinner menu, which sounds very tempting. I am Italian born and raised and VERY fundamentalist with Italian food, so I am the perfect judge! Absolutely recommendable!

I have tried to go here twice and both times have been so put off by the hostess that I will make no more attempts. Why a restaurant would not even have a bar where you can have a few drinks while you wait for a table is beyond me. Apparently this is part of their "regular seating". I love Frank's and Lil Frankie's, but I will pass on Supper.

Very Rude

I tried to put my name in for a table while waiting for my girlfriend, but they wouldn't take my name or seat me without her. Twenty minutes later when she showed up, we couldn't get a table for two on a Thursday night at 615 despite the fact that the place was completely empty (one of the two tables upstairs was visibly unoccupied). We were told we would have to sit at the bar or at the communal table because they "just didn't have anything for us". We left and went to Max where they didn't have any problems seating us at our own table immediately and with no condescending BS.
