Out of state, and planning a party. Catering manager and restaurant mangers are unprofessional and don't return calls or emails. Obviously, they don't need the business. Shame.... my guest list is for 150. I was hoping the bad reviews on several other websites were untrue. I was wrong.

The exterior and workmanship of the outside that was done by the developer and owner are nice particularly when comparing to the environment. The bar is a full bar and the servers somewhat know how to prepare the overpriced drinks. The service is deplorable for the night life upstairs. Don't expect to have a good night after spending $200 at the bar or restaurant which I did with my wife and 2 of our friends from graduate school. Talay is doing so poorly in this recession that they will twist your arm to pay an extra $25 cover to dance with the ghetto trash that are let upstairs. Don't waste your time with this place. Dinosaur BBQ down the street or the real Meathpacking district are better scenes and you deal with higher class people.
