One of the Best Kosher Steakhouses in Manhattan

I had to review this place and say how I was completely satisfied and impressed with Talia's Steakhouse and Bar. My friend is strictly Glatt Kosher and he invited me to try this steakhouse - Kosher Steakhouse in UWS of Manhattan. I am not as strict and usually have my steak at Peter Luger Steakhouse or Chris's Ruth Steakhouse. I had Prime Rib for one at Talia's and the quality was one of the best. The onion rings were so good. The only difference is the price. Talia's prices of steaks is a little bit higher than non-Kosher steakhouses in Manhattan. However, the quality of Talia's steaks is much better plus the fact that it is Glatt Kosher- is a home run. I would recommend that everyone try this Kosher Steakhouse. You will be impressed. The ambiance is cozy and I love the artwork there.

My son loves steak, so I was looking for a great Kosher steakhouse to take him to when we came up to visit him in New York. Talia's came up when I did a search, and it turns out, it was very close to where he was staying. He and I both ordered steaks. He ordered the prime rib, and I ordered the pan-seared filet mignon. Both steaks were excellent. He was very impressed, and he is a connoisseur of steaks. Great experience! I highly recommend it!

MMM!!! Definitely what my family and I needed after a long, hardworking week. With a staff that treats you like family, definitely my go to kosher restaurant in the Upper west side. The food's great. There's something on the menu appropriate for everyone. My kids tend to go for the chicken fingers and fries, I usually go for the steaks. Steaks are always cooked to perfection. No extra sauce needed! Great food, relaxing ambiance, attentive staff, Talia's doesn't go wrong. Plus, they are always open! Even having special menus for holidays like Rosh Hashana.

My husband and I were just going for a walk on the UWS when we strolled into Talia's. We heard some really great live, acoustic guitar music coming from the restaurant and decided to check it out, We sat outside, ordered appetizers (the thai beef salad was SO yummy) and some wine, and had a relaxing tuesday evening in new york. The live music, atmosphere, and the food are all reasons to go back again!

Took a date to Talia’s Steakhouse in Manhattan last night. I was pleased to see they had candles and roses on the tables. We ordered a prime rib and filet mignon, which we both agreed were excellent. The live musician sounded great. They really know how to make a romantic evening a Talia’s. Great food, great service on the Upper West Side. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a great glatt kosher restaurant in NYC, I highly recommend Talia’s. I brought my family into the city from Brooklyn and we all enjoyed. Kids had a blast with their chicken fingers and fries, and we loved our steaks and short ribs. Our friends are looking for a restaurant in Manhattan to have their Passover Seder, and I would definitely let them know to check out Talia's, since they will be kosher for Passover and open the whole holiday. We hope to be back soon!

The live music was so great! Mixed with the candles and roses on the tables, it really made for a nice ambiance. The steaks were cooked exactly how I like, and my cup never went dry. The servers were all very friendly and helpful, I know I can be a handful so this was nice to see that they were able to roll with the punches. I'm a picky eater and the food was exactly what I wanted. I really had an exceptional night. The food was so affordable and to be honest, the portions were really quite generous. Great experience!

Talia's Steakhouse never fails to leave me satisfied and filled with delicious food. Their lamb shank is my favorite dish. The meat just melts in my mouth and leaves me wanting more. Unfortunately, it's starting to get too cold now to enjoy the food in their outdoor cafe, but the atmosphere inside is just as nice. The staff is always extremely helpful, too.

My boyfriend & I were visiting frm Chicago & we happened to be walking down Amsterdam Avenue when we we're attracted by the sound of great live music! We decided to stop in for a cocktail at the bar & saw the fantastic amount of choices of food! I wasn't very hungry so i had the chicken ceasar wrap with sauteed spinach - which was the perfect amount! My boyfriend choose the BBQ Spare Ribs which was a great portion - we were very impressed with this!!! I will definitively come back to dine here at Talia's Steakhouse on the next trip to New York City!
