My husband and I were just going for a walk on the UWS when we strolled into Talia's. We heard some really great live, acoustic guitar music coming from the restaurant and decided to check it out, We sat outside, ordered appetizers (the thai beef salad was SO yummy) and some wine, and had a relaxing tuesday evening in new york. The live music, atmosphere, and the food are all reasons to go back again!

Took a date to Talia’s Steakhouse in Manhattan last night. I was pleased to see they had candles and roses on the tables. We ordered a prime rib and filet mignon, which we both agreed were excellent. The live musician sounded great. They really know how to make a romantic evening a Talia’s. Great food, great service on the Upper West Side. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a great glatt kosher restaurant in NYC, I highly recommend Talia’s. I brought my family into the city from Brooklyn and we all enjoyed. Kids had a blast with their chicken fingers and fries, and we loved our steaks and short ribs. Our friends are looking for a restaurant in Manhattan to have their Passover Seder, and I would definitely let them know to check out Talia's, since they will be kosher for Passover and open the whole holiday. We hope to be back soon!

The live music was so great! Mixed with the candles and roses on the tables, it really made for a nice ambiance. The steaks were cooked exactly how I like, and my cup never went dry. The servers were all very friendly and helpful, I know I can be a handful so this was nice to see that they were able to roll with the punches. I'm a picky eater and the food was exactly what I wanted. I really had an exceptional night. The food was so affordable and to be honest, the portions were really quite generous. Great experience!

Talia's Steakhouse never fails to leave me satisfied and filled with delicious food. Their lamb shank is my favorite dish. The meat just melts in my mouth and leaves me wanting more. Unfortunately, it's starting to get too cold now to enjoy the food in their outdoor cafe, but the atmosphere inside is just as nice. The staff is always extremely helpful, too.

My boyfriend & I were visiting frm Chicago & we happened to be walking down Amsterdam Avenue when we we're attracted by the sound of great live music! We decided to stop in for a cocktail at the bar & saw the fantastic amount of choices of food! I wasn't very hungry so i had the chicken ceasar wrap with sauteed spinach - which was the perfect amount! My boyfriend choose the BBQ Spare Ribs which was a great portion - we were very impressed with this!!! I will definitively come back to dine here at Talia's Steakhouse on the next trip to New York City!

I was planning a family reunion lunch in New York and since many of the family members, myself included, keep kosher we decided to do it at a kosher steakhouse. I’ve had some mixed experiences at Talia’s but remembered having a delicious steak the last time I was there so I decided to book a table for our party. We were 20 people and they had our table ready for us when we arrived. There were a couple of elderly people in our party and this was probably the last time all of us would be meeting together so it was a very special occasion. A few of them were having quite a few drinks – who knew that old people liked cocktails so much! –living it up until the very end…good for them I say. Anyway, about the food- I had the rib-eye steak which was as good as I remember. In fact, I think most of our party had some kind of meat dish. My husband had the roasted duck in raspberry sauce which he really enjoyed. The chicken vegetable soup was included with my steak as an appetizer and it was very flavorful. I think that only my aunt had a fish dish – if I remember correctly it was the Moroccan salmon, which she enjoyed with a few glasses of Pinot Grigiot. I recall her being very happy and content. The service was top-notch and our food came very quickly even with the restaurant being fairly full.

I was with a large group celebrating my best friend’s wedding at Talias. It was a great choice to celebrate here. Talia’s staff was very accommodating to help us order a large quantity of wine and desserts, and the assortment of menu items to choose from was very much appreciated. Although we were a large crowd and no doubt made a lot of commotion, the service was pretty efficient. I am going to come back with my husband for a regular meal here for sure!

now I’ll have to agree with those who said that Talia’s is a great place in many aspects to eat and schmooze. I was there on Saturday and they won me with that live music they had and the abundant plate I had in front me. they sure know how to make those steaks. I have to ask for the name of that sauce next time I’m there

Went there under living social deal- as soon as they figured it out(saw voucher) gave us inferior menus(supposed to be same menu) with four choices. Terrible service waited 25 minutes for hot bread with appetizer- ended up coming with main dish which had no flavor- the stuffed chicken. Dessert- scoop of ice cream or scoop of sorbet I could have gotten in any grocery store for a tenth of the price. total rip off. As a New Yorker who has enjoyed many fine places this was a real dissappoint ment. To top thing off they wanted a 40 tip based on tax and 150 "value" of food. Something's not too Kosher here...
