I took a date to Talia's Steakhouse last week, and I had to write about it. We had an amazing time. I ordered the Thai Beef Salad as an appetizer, and my date had the Roasted Beet Salad. They were fantastic. For our entrees, we both had the Butcher's cut steak. It is not on the menu, but the affable owner suggested it to us as we walked in. So we tried it. I have had many steaks in this city, but this one was by far the best. And my date, a former vegetarian, said that she could never live without meat again after tasting Talia's Steak. We were both full from our meals, but the desserts looked too good to pass up. So we shared the chocolate souffle. It was magnificent. I have found the perfect place to take a date in Manhattan. Talia's Steakhouse cannot be beat!

The review just about says it all; it's an upscale, overpriced dating scene with indifferent service and minimally acceptable food. If you and any companions are serious about your meal and not merely plotting your love life, find another spot. This is just okay for those too young to know better.

Talia’s has the most amazing, mouth-watering, tender, exquisite steak!!! It’s like it dropped from heaven! And it is all at a great price as well. The portions are not small at all – in fact you will probably be asking the waiter (ohh yeah, real great staff too!! ) to wrap up the rest for home, even if you manage to finish most of it and have some small bites left I recommend DO still take it home – you will be craving this steak again…and soon!!!

Talia's was a truly great experience for my kids and I. The staff is so friendly and helpful. My kids are young and they tend to make a mess or two when we dine out and this time was no different. But the staff was so professional and understanding. Their food is amazing too! I had a fillete and my children got hamburger and chicken fingers - absolutely delicious! we all loved it! the music in the background was soft creating a great ambience. it was a perfect epxerience overall!!!

They say its all about the place that you get together at , that creates the memories. My former calssmates and I decided to get together for our 10th year out of highschool. It was so amazing to see where everyone was in life, but the more amazing part, was the place we chose to go out to. Talia's Steakhouse was the place we chose for our little get togethr. As we got there, a very nice, smiling hostess greeted us and lead us to our seat. We were seated in a very nice manner, in which we could each see eachother, and all be part of the same conversation. Meanwhile, the waitress came to our table and took our drink orders. Following that, we ordered appetisers and main dishes. Everything was so good, and we got to reminice the good old days. The musician was playing his guitar and singing along, and we were just having such a great time enjoying eachothers comany. we will probably come there for our next get together as well.

The Tilapia with Thai sauce and basmati rice was amazing. My husband had a boneless butcher cut steak and he really enjoyed it - tendered and cook to perfection. The mixed drink we had were well done. The servers were attentive and very friendly. The portion and price of our main dishes were very reasonable. Overall, Talia's Steakhouse is 100% - highly recommended.

I organized a party for my son's graduation and hosted it on Talia's premises. That was one of the smoother parties I've ever organized or attended. There were a total of 30 guests. The owner, Effie, arrange a fixed menu with several choices of appetizers, entrees and desserts. The waiters continually checked for water, soft drinks, and wine, and the organization was very efficient. The food was ready as soon as we need it, the orders were not mistakes, and all my guests seemed to have a good time. Even though it was a busy night, we had a huge section just for the party, and we weren't rushed at any point. All in all it was a great experience.

I came to Talia's steakhouse with a date. It was an enjoyable night. The place had a nice background music and the service was great. My waitress was paying a lot of attention to me and my date, but wasn't imposing. We had great cocktails and I enjoyed my ribbey stake. It was the right temperature and I would definitely come back for it. The location of the place is also very convenient, within commuting distance, thus not requiring me to drive. My date was very picky about her dessert, she wanted a smoothie with no ice cream and no sugar. The bartender came out to specifically take the details of that order, and I believe this was the first time she enjoyed it and asked for a second one. That was a very pleasant surprise.

From the minute I sat down, I was continually impressed with TaliaÂ’s. The service was very professional and the waitresses checked up on us several times. The food was very good quality, and I thoroughly enjoyed my entire meal from start to finish. The noise level was not too loud like most restaurant bars, and my date and I had a very nice, deep conversation, enhanced by the candlelit, romantic atmosphere. I will definitely be coming again on my second date - with my now boyfriend and with Talia's!

I love going to Talia’s on Saturday nights with my girlfriends. They have great cocktails, and a really good lounge menu. With live music, it’s my favorite place to go and have a few drinks and some great food.
