Tamba is one of the finer Indian food establishments in New York City. I thought the appetizers excelled. My favorite was the keema samosa. Each dish I sampled at Tamba had been thoughtfully created using artful combinations of spices and gravies, which bring out the essence of the meat, fish or vegetable. Lunch is a real deal at Tamba .For about $11 you can get a really satisfying buffet with rice, bread and a vegetable thrown in. I Love The Food at Tamba

I found this great Indian restaurant in Murry Hill. What I like about this restaurant is food is great ( well balanced flavor) and very clean. I spoke to the owner and they told me that they used to own another restaurant in Midtown and they used to have many Japanese clients. Japanese love Curry! ( even though Japanese curry and Indian Curry are different). I tried their yellow rice and it was great. I ate it for the first time. Yummy. I am happy that I found this place. I know where I can go when I want to eat Indian food.

This place represents the best of the unworthy additions to curry hill. Even the other new ones try to be at an even level with better food and service. A just ugly lunch buffet and an unappetizing dinner a-la-carte. You can get better north Indian and kababs, food and better dosas elsewhere in the area. The owners ,themselves do all the cooking.Very disappointing. Will never go back.
