I came here for my birthday a couple years ago, I remember just stumbling across this place while wandering on Avenue of the Americas. Bison burgers are phenomenal! And one of the best key-lime pies I've ever had! I love the location. The fact that it's slightly below ground level blocks a lot of street noise. And I love the classic jazz and country music.

My wwife and I visited Ted's with our two adult kids and their significant others who came to town for the holiday. Just happened to hit at happy hour so drinks were very reasonable. Of the four different entrees among the six of us everyone was happy and pronouned the food very good. Service by Ridvan was excellent and he handled substitutions without any problems. He was there when we needed him without being a pain if you get what I mean. I would definitely return.

Had the bison burger -- it was excellent! Reasonably priced, very nice inside, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. I would definitely go back!

Ordered a chili cheeseburger for takeout; when I got back to my apartment there was no chili on it. Called back to complain, got "sorry". Decided to give them another chance six months later...and the same thing happened AGAIN, including the "sorry" on the phone. (I'm kicking myself for not checking before leaving the restaurant.) There are places with better burgers - and probably better steaks - nearby. There's no reason to go to Ted's.

Love Ted, but he'll have to try harder at the food biz. Slightly dirty, very ordinary. Next time I'll save my money and go to Virgil's.
