Given the paucity of decent, much less good, Vietnamese food in the East Village, it's surprising that this place is still somewhat under the radar. I've yet to eat a bad dish here. Favorites include the Vietnamese crepes, bun cha hanoi, and crab cake noodles. The ho-hum beef broth in the pho is somewhat disappointing, but forgivable since the rest of the menu is mostly excellent. With their slow start, they started doing delivery to the surrounding blocks, and among my rotation of delivery spots, it's probably the most consistently satisfying option.

This restaurant is a real find, and one of the best new restaurants in the neighborhood. It's a shame it's still somewhat empty, especially on weeknights. Don't miss the opportunity to eat here! The service is supremely friendly and professional. The food is exquisitely yet accessibly prepared. All the flavors and ingredients are fresh, interesting, and tasty. And even better, the prices are reasonable or even inexpensive. This is Vietnamese food as edible art! We found Steven, the co-owner, to be very warm and hospitable. Tet is perfect for everything from a romantic couple's dinner, a family outing, and a special occasion. We are about to make our third trip there in as many weeks and can't wait to go back again. Favorite dishes: the crepe appetizer, the vegetarian rolls, the red snapper, the egg noodles with vegetables.

Food beautifully prepared and (pleasantly) complex; prices and ambiance two notches under "special occasion." Already looking forward to a return visit. Will be putting Tet on the heavy rotation list. Agree w/ G. Greene's recommend re: 5-spice rubbed quail and also recommend coconut pancake appetizer.
