I absolutely LOVE The Smith for brunch. Dinner is great as well (love the crawfish hush puppies for an app and the salmon entree), but their brunch is what keeps me coming back weekend after weekend. I'm more than a little addicted to their Chicken Sausage and Eggs brunch dish. Sooo good! Food aside, their service is honestly some of the best (and consistently so) I've experienced in the city. Not overbearing, not MIA, they have it just right. I have had two occasions in which my food hasn't come out as I had requested (I'm a little HM with that, I have to admit), and both times, they fixed it right away AND comped my meal all together. When does that ever happen anymore?? Love.

This is one of my favorite reasonably priced/good quality restaurants in Manhattan. I typically come here for lunch where I can get a sandwich or salad between $12-$18. The Ahi Tuna Salad is my favorite and it comes with a hard-boiled egg, capers, potato salad, green beans, roasted red peppers and a fair portion of seared tuna. The beer draft menu is not too bad too with a lot of local and New England beers. This is a nice place for a weekend stop since it's in a great location and when the weather is nice they open up the outdoors.

I love this place for a quicker, cheap dinner but with an atmosphere that still has flair. I've been here numerous times, and it definitely gets really crowded and noisy around dinner time, but as long as you make a reservation the staff are on the ball with serving you in a timely manner and making sure you are taken care of, no matter how out of the way your seat seems to be. I love their mac n' cheese appetizer, and almost all of their salads are fantastic. The portions are great especially for the price, and nothing is bland. It's great for a casual date or to bring your family to (in the afternoons). Probably one of my East Village faves.

The hustle and bustle and loud music can be a little overwhelming if you're recovering from a late weekend night. Aside from that, the food is wonderful and rich, especially the Potato Waffle and the Croaker. Really good bloody Mary's have just the right amount of horse radish and pepper, and the pickled tomato is a nice touch. Favorite brunch in the neighborhood!

Walked into this place tonight and when I saw how busy it was I worried a little that we'd be waiting a long time to get served but that was not the case at all. Had a delicious bloody mary, avocado salad and a burger and all was perfectly prepared. The service was excellent and very present. An all around great experience!

I was particularly impressed with the quality of the service. The waitstaff were all friendly and knowledgeable. The food was also quite tasty, nothing unusual but all prepared well.

This is a great place to have close to your house. Way better than a diner, but still the kind of place you can go and have a different meal often. The food is great and very well priced. The wine is also extremely well priced. This is a great addition to the neighborhood!!

The bluecheese fondue over chips is delicious, but the crowning glory is the short ribs. It's one of the best plates of food i've ever had. If you have room at the end, theres a great list of ice cream sundaes.

Having been to the Odeon, my standards were understandably pretty high, but I had a fantastic meal here. I regularly go around the city with 2-3 of my friends in what we call "a club of dinners," and honestly, this was the best restaurant we've been to in as long as I can remember. The food was great - but stay away from the steak - and the service was fantastic.
