I imagine the Ambramcyk crew pats themselves on the backs for luring tourists and neighborhood dwellers alike with their uber-cool vintage decor, attractive staff, and 80's soundtrack. I don't expect them to care that the spinach and ricotta dip surrounded by soggy carrot sticks and celery was one of the most offensively lazy dishes I have ever been served in New York. Nor am I surprised that they allow undercooked, not-so-fresh scallops to leave the kitchen. They are in this business for the vibe and the revenues. But I wonder what the chef would think if his buddies ever showed up to sample the unpalatable vinegar-soaked broccoli rabe he is serving at this place. I was hoping to find a new favorite neighborhood go to. Alas, Tiny's is all style, no substance.

Walked in on a dead weds night at 8. Tables were open both upstairs and down but we were told an hour wait and we could wait at the bar. The bar was the only thing crowded, not because there were so many people but because it's only 5 feet long. Two bartenders sat behind it and were way more interested in talking to each other about their hipster first world problems than taking $13 dollars from me for a cocktail. Left immediately. Went around the corner to a place that was so much better than Tiny's it was laughable and gladly paid $13 for drinks there instead. With the abundance of excellent places in the neighborhood that have outstanding food, drinks and service, there's no reason to encourage a dump like this. Tiny's, you have to be popular before you can be pretentious. I dunno who is creating the good buzz around this place but i suspect it's the Ambramcyk clan themselves. Will not even bother returning. Also, please excuse the 5 for food. it won't let me submit without a food rating and i really don't know how the menu is because they never gave us one.

The menu hasn't changed, but the chef/creator went to their other place down the road, Super Linda, replaced by an incompetent, uncreative "chef". I used to love this place, went there every Sunday, but won't go back. So sad.

I have lived in Tribeca for over 15 years and have waited a LONG time for a place like this. The staff is approachable and sweet. I love the menu. The food never disappoints. It's hands down my favorite place in the hood. I always feel right at home and whether it be dinner/drinks with friends or a client they always walk away loving the place and going back on their own. Matt, Jack and Ana have done an amazing job. Well done guys!!

Love this restaurant! The Ravioli, Meatballs, and Kale Salad are all amazing. Always a cool vibe. Great lighting. Super Sexy-perfect for dates. The fireplace is so romantic. I've been loads of times and it never disappoints.
