Worst Thai food I've ever had. Way too greasy, tasteless, just plain bad. I am not picky either. My husband and I both thought it was awful and only ate a few bites.

My husband and I tried Topaz with our 8-year old son. We all found something to enjoy: the Pla Lad Prik for me (delicious, but a lot of fish bones to navigate around), my husband ordered "Lovely in the Golden Nest" (spicy chicken, gorgeous presentation) and our son had the glass noodle dish Pad Woonsen and loved it. The appetizer spring rolls were a little blah for us, but we gobbled them up just the same. The service was excellent, the price was nice and being in a small cozy restaurant in chilly December felt just right. We will be back when we're in NYC again!

The Drunken Noodle is De-licious! I don't like hot food but this dish I can't stop eating. It's spicy but extremely tasty. When my friend comes by my job she always asks is the thai place open. Friendly and attentive service. Cozy atmosphere. Nice portions too.

If you think size does matter, you might not like the cosy, friendly atmosphere at Topaz Thai. My date apologised perhaps because it was not as sophisticated as he expected, but I was more than happy with the cosiness and unpretentious feel of the place. Excellent food that came as spicy as I would call medium. Service was unpretentious, friendly and very efficient. Excellent value for money and I would return for sure.

This small subterranean Thai has more character than many over hyped and over priced places around town. One gets fine Americanized Thai food at excellent prices in a pleasant narrow dinning room. The wait staff have a pleasant attitude and do a commendable job in serving the usually overflowing crowd. Enjoy.
